You have three options with that white residue.

Snort it, shoot it, or smoke it.

Been a while, but I installed my Ironman 2” lift with diff drop and Dobinson UCA’s.

Also put new leather on the old steering wheel, learning in the process that I may not be the best at upholstery, but it still looks and feels a ton better. I opted out of the new wood grain in the before picture (let me know anyone wants it)

Another minor fix was to replace some cracked windshield wiper fluid tubing so that I can use the wiper fluid.

FedEx just dropped off my new wheels and tires right before it got dark, i slapped it on and drove around. Very impressed with the balancing, at 80mph still doesn't shake.

Yall dig or nah?

Looks great!

I decided to thoroughly clean and refurbish my factory roof rack since it was already off the vehicle. Thought I was going to ditch it, but I was swayed by my wife to put it back on :).

Several passes with an orbital buffer and Meguiar’s Ultimate Compound brought back the shine after 17 years of neglect. Then I protected it with some ceramic wax. Back on the Cruiser it went. Used anti seize on all the bolts.

Take the the factory roof rack and crossbars off our, and LXs are twins. I dig the 7-spoke wheels - what’s the offset on those?

18x9 +12mm offset, 275/70/18 Ko2. They are aggressive but I love the poke out look. Need to beat up the plastic where the pinch weld is and raise the vehicle an inch and that should stop the rubbing. There’s an old saying during my riced out cars day, “if you don’t rub, your setup is weak”

New leather looks great. Did you get the other wheel on eBay?

Very nice. Have you taken the trip yet? We just returned from 12 days in WI, MN, and ND.
Nope, we leave Thursday, stop at the edge of West Virginia, then Devils Lake and Wisconsin Dells, then Flambeau River area, then MN. Probably wont involve much off-roading though, I'm not really sure what the options/trails are like out there.

Got the Emu wings installed, nice to have better access and fewer rattles! PS glass is spoken for, anyone need DS?

Hi, I'm curious about the driver's side glass and hardware for the mechanism to move the window. Any chance you still have any of it? Also did you have any pictures of the removal of the glass? I'm attempting to design a wing of my own.

I do indeed still have the glass and all the hardware. Removal is pretty simple, pull molding, 2x 10mm nuts up front (deep socket needed) at the hinge, and 2X bolts (12mm?) at the rear for the motor assembly. I don't have any photos of the removal process, but the following videos on the Emu Wing install show the details of the removal:
