I thought that kit comes with new OEM clamps 🤔

They were definitely different than the clamps that were on my LX. No idea if mine were OEM but everything looked original. The clamps provided were a little smaller diameter so they were tight to get over the hoses. This was fine for the lower hoses but made it really tough around the actual heater T.

I’m experiencing the same issue Heater hose clamp part number needed - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/heater-hose-clamp-part-number-needed.1248560/. Only I don’t have the original clamps to reuse. I’m headed to the dealer later today - I may have found the right part number. I’ll post in my thread the results so folks can find it (assuming I’m successful).

So I still have my old hose clamps that I pulled off when I replaced all my hoses and clamps with new. Would you want them?

Thank you for the offer, but I just picked up what I need.

Flushed green coolant and changed (almost) all hoses and clamps. I'll finished the heater T's this weekend and top off with Toyota Red. I've got a starter and front end rebuild to look forward to as well.

The old thermostat had the seals falling apart. No idea how old it was.

Used it for a week of beach driving and camping. 1300 miles or so across 3 states. 0 problems truck related. Great family get away! Lots of margaritas too!

How does a part time kit reduce the MTBF? Is it the driving force that is causing the boots to split? I guess I have always assumed it was caused by impact with something during an offroad drive.
With the drive shaft not rotating during two wheel driving, there should be fewer rotations of that boot. Allegedly.

Overall - it’s not terrible but it does have its faults. Currently discussing suspensions setups over pm with a couple other members. More specifically Dobinsons IMS/MRA vs Tough Dog. The problem I have is there’s no significant weight in the back of my truck (aside from recovery gear, a subwoofer box, and my interior rack) so the rear end can be very bouncy at time when unloaded regardless of what setting the rear shocks are on. Now loaded down with gear/trailer/boat it rides amazing, but I hate having to sacrifice ride quality when I get to my destination and unload the weight. I drove one of these guys trucks with the Dobinsons setup + rear bumper recently and it drove like a dream! The Dobinsons MRA rears have separate LSC, HSC, & rebound adjustment, as opposed to Tough Dog only having rebound.

TL;DR - if I were to do it again I’d go Dobinsons.

My tough dogs have also had the worst paint quality of any shock I have ever owned. They've been light duty for barely 7k and the paint is completely gone over about the lower 7 inches and they rusted immediately. I sanded and recoated them but it's obvious no primer was used and the surface paint is just flaking off.

I swapped my fronts with @bgolf247 about 2k ago to try the smaller diameter shocks and he said he only had about 10 or 15k on his front shocks. The seals on the 40mm ones I got from him are already leaking. All in all, I am not a fan of the tough dog shocks at all, particularly for the price.
Yeah I gotta agree with you on that, the paint finish on mine is definitely wearing significantly faster than any other shock I’ve run. Especially at the bottom near the lower mount

Lol thanks. That's the teq logo toyotas old trd brand. I still haven't decided how to rig it up but want the stove permanently mounted to the table I think with a cabinet inside to hold cooking utensils.
what that teq log custom or something dissent did? I have the tire mount on one side of my dissent rear and am trying to decide what I'll put on the other.
