Hard mount charger for my new AGM. I likes it. I want to hard mount charging leads to the threaded post but need to research/perform a parasitic drain test on the charger first.

Aren't you worried about water getting into that open connector? I've seen this on many exotic cars at work because their batteries die after sitting for a day, but never considered this as an option on an offroad truck. My engine bay looks like crap after hitting a few trails.

Changed the old today. Also got.the mud flap delete delivered today. Painted them and put them on..looks so much better

Ordered new diff bushing arms from partsouq and the front Febest diff bushings. Also ordered SPC rear lower control arms. I hope this concludes my suspension refresh. I need to stop spending on my LC or my wife is going to think I have a 2nd family. lol

Pressure wash, aircraft stripper, wire wheel and sanding.

New finish is all Rustoleum - self etching primer, graphite high performance wheel paint and clear coat.

What aircraft stripper? The Rustoleum gets good reviews but is tough to find...and Summit is 2-weeks out on expected ship date.

Kleanstrip’s new (legal) formula gets horrible reviews.

Thanks!

Painted my wheels, installed some free KO2s I scored at work (stock size but 90% tread) and removed the running boards.

Next weekend I'll be installing my MT4x4 sliders and making my own mud flap deletes :smokin:

The KO2s ride a lot more rough than the old street tires but it's worth it.

Probably finished restoring a set of 18" LX wheels I bought over a year ago on Mud classifieds. They've been sitting on the side of the house waiting for me and some bonus project time thanks to covid.

Pressure wash, aircraft stripper, wire wheel and sanding. Had a little help, less than enthusiastic. Seems self defeating as they are or will be the primary drivers of this fine machine.

Couldn't find the good before pics, but I haven't touched the spare yet, so it's indicative of the salt-induced corrosion around here.

Not as smooth as I'd like, seems like some dust nibs in the sides of the spokes, so I may polish and hit it again with clear after it is good and cured.

Is your "enthusiastic" pit crew available for hire? :)

(My son is much less enthusiastic, unless he gets to take his work for a "test drive".)

I agree with mud flaps. Where I live they are a must. Horrible muddy, rocky roads that throw stones and splash everywhere. Same goes for running boards. My wife is 5 ft 2. If I removed her step, she would give me more than the evil eye.

My wife is 5’2” as well, we’ll see how it goes! She drives a first gen sequoia with running boards.

My wife is 5ft 1in. She never used the steps. The kids used them, but they have adjusted to getting in without them.

The 12V outlet no as it’s sealed with a gasket. The line in connection yes slightly. It has a crappy shipping protector over the contacts but I need to find a better solution.

Replaced the heater T's and hoses. How I failed to do this previously is beyond me, but there the new ones were in the back of a drawer of parts I was looking through. I bought them over 4 years ago. The old one on the driver's side crumbled while removing it, but the passenger side T looked like it would have lasted a lot longer.
