It's one I made to keep the pups in the back. I made it to anchor at the bottom through the D-rings, the top through the grab handles and under the headrest in the middle. What net is that separating the cargo area?
Cheers,
Scot

Getting 315/75/16 's Cooper SST PRO's but paranoid they wont fit. Currently it has 305/70/16 's . so 33 inch to 35 inch I think
Currently has about 2 1/2 inch lift and is a FZJ105R front live axle. So thinking I will be ok for clearance.
Feel free to comment if you have done this already on this setup. 80 series has similar front setup
Here's the difference on a tire size calculator.
285/75-R16 vs 315/75-R16 Tire Comparison - Tire Size Calculator | Tacoma World
315/75-R16 tires are 1.77 inches (45 mm) larger in diameter than 285/75-R16 tires and the speedometer difference is 5.1%www.tacomaworld.com
I have a single crack on each side. Where did you source the trim? Going through several project during my WFH time.I remember seeing that mine were cracked and I did manage to find a thread of people discussing it. The consensus was: it didn't cause any leaking so they were leaving it alone and that's what I did. I see you did a writeup so I might tackle this myself! Thanks!
Will do, the rest are still cookin’.More pics against car![]()

What’s the pivot point mounted to—I don’t recall anything nearly beefy enough for mounting that under my bumper cover....
Wild! The finished product looks amazing! You should sell this!I made a pretty substantial support piece under the bumper cover for the pivot to mount to. It's a tight space to get something rigid enough into.
Installed my Huracan Tailgate Storage Compartment!
Nothing looks better than a CENTERED spare carrier. Nice and tight to the body I might add.
Best stock/mod swing out option looks hella clean.
You’re gonna love the 315 width aired down on the sand. Post a pic when installedCheers for reply. Yeah looked at that , looked at an Australian version of that comparison tool also. Also looked at speedometre differences compared to stock.
Below are pics of the current (older) Cooper SST PRO 305/70/16 's
I made the quick measurements around the tyre and I think I will be fine. If not it will be very close. SPrings in front look to be the only thing to be in the way, but I take it a normal turn would never turn that far anyway,
Works out as 23 mm diameter and 5mm each side width. Even with the 305/70/16 currently bald I think it will be fine. Will add pics to here after its done Tuesday morning. Maybe it will help someone else with similar mod/s going up a size.

Replaced the plastic trim at the front of both rear quarter windows. Both of mine had two cracks, and were making me a bit crazy.
Haven’t seen any threads on this but suspect it’s a common problem—if a write up would be helpful I’d be happy to put one together—it’s a one-banana job but much easier after side one, as are all jobs.
Pulled the window seal on the driver’s side off completely to clean around the window. On the passenger side I just pulled the back away to clean what’s visible with the window open.
when I went to reinstall the window I was like, “hey those look like rust flakes!” So I’ll be pulling that window tomorrow afternoon and figuring out how bad the cancer is.
NorCal truck so very very rust free, but the paint here must have been compromised and all that SF rain did its thing.
