Yeah, I went there too, and they were sold out, NOW I know why, so much for buy only what you need, lol

But, that's exactly the amount I need to last thru April :) We should do a parking lot happy hour......where we park in an empty lot and sit on our tailgates (6 feet apart at minimum LOL) and chat for a bit. Did that with Jeff last week and it was nice to see another human being finally.

Curious why you removed the rear swaybar? I think it's been shown many times to not hinder articulation, but be beneficial to on-road handling.

I’ve gone back and forth about it several times. There are so many opinions about sway bars I just decided to try it out for myself.
Since my truck is lifted, I wondered what kind of effects the sway bar might be causing due to the non factory geometry.

I wanted to see how the truck felt on the road and off. I honestly feel little to no difference on the road. Maybe that’s due to the more sporty valving on the old man emu shocks or maybe I just drive too conservative.

Off road I feel like the truck just moves more freely in the rear. It’s not a scientific result but more of a personal feel. I’ll continue to do more “research” on this. I’ve also considered simply running the sway bar but adding longer links to obtain close to factory geometry. Removing it was simply a quick way to feel the difference in flexibility and so far I like the results.

Currently unemployed and bored. I decided to renew my old fog lights, had some leftover sandpaper from the 3M Kit. Highly recommend this kit, very effective. They give you enough to do 2-3 pairs of lights.

Here is when I had my yellow overlay...
Still don't know if I should keep it clear, I kinda like the cleaner look, but at the same time it looks kinda boring too.

IMO looks good clear, you have the black grill adding contrast don't need more. Plus when i see yellow fog lights i just picture rice rockets like civics and subies and just seem wrong on the 100.

I think it looks better clear. I have yellow bulbs in my LX fogs, so it's the best of both worlds; I like the look of yellow fogs, but not when they're off.

More baselining on my vehicle today. I worked on greasing the driveshaft today. Much easier than I thought it would be and it helped the highway vibrations/noise. It's hard to believe how much grease can help.

Looks great!
I’d like to know more about your grill! I’ve been wanting to do something like that.
It is the stock grill, painted black, with a 70 series emblem double-sided taped onto it.

I kinda dig the yellow. Helps to break up all the white. Either way, you've got a good looking rig!

Stripped an axle and a little bit of wiring to prepare for an upcoming project.

Then fixed a botch job on the CDL—at some point someone replaced the actuator motor (looks brand new) but didn't key it in properly. It wasn't particularly fun, but not particularly difficult. Can't be too pissed, though—it hasn't worked since I bought it and I was none the wiser.

Bought my land cruiser (Thundertruck) a sibling.
Meet Marshmellow. 273k mile 4x4 5speed t100.
Now ill have a backup truck for dirty jobs and will also be able to commute when i work on one or the other.
Planning on doing upper/lower ball joints and tre's, then a suspension refresh on the cruiser. (probably ome because it works well and i shouldn't spend too much more money for a lift with more bells and whistles). The rear is a little low from the dissent no cut on stock suspension (squatting about a half inch lower than the front). Looks level but its not what it should be because of the extra lbs.

Cleaned a year’s worth of drippy goo and dust off both the metal and plastic skid plates. Cleaned 16 years worth of road grime off the inside of the front wheels. Mostly. Still small pits and spots everywhere, but the overall look is far brighter. The before look was nearly black, like the inside of the spokes.

Pulled the rack to get ready for replacement. I think I will replace under engine hoses while I have this out.
