Had SLEE SS brake lines installed and the two heater hoses under the car by the transfer case replaced.

Had a local trusted shop replace all my plugs and coils then headed out to Anza-Borrego to check out some wild flowers.

Ok, here it goes! Found this 1999 LX470 with 230k miles. It just got the timing belt, radiator, coolant, thermostat done plus brand new tires and brakes. I checked the car and didn't notice any issue. It's been a WA car with zero rust and runs super smooth. All the power / electrics works perfectly. Also checked the CarFax and there wasn't any accident in the history with about 27 service records. The dealer had it listed for $7400, then dropped it to $6900, but after the negotiation he agreed to drop it to $6700. So I payed $7600 out of the door (TAX, doc fees, etc).
As the air suspension still works perfectly and the tires are new (even though they are some sort of Michelin Defender and not my ideal tires), I'm not going to do any modifications until the suspension breaks!! and will keep it simple for now.
Right now looking for some floor mats, stereo, and a key fob. So please let me know if you have any recommendation.

Congrats. The key blanks sold on Amazon that contain the remote have been working for me. Hopefully if you only got a regular key without the fob it is a master.

Hydraulic suspension. Lots more technical and advanced (and reliable) than the air suspensions on Rovers. Mountains of detail here on upkeep, search by AHC.

I changed out the battery in my key fob and gained about 150ft in range away from the truck! Pretty excited since I had to basically be touching the truck before!

Had the dreaded brake failure...got a used master cylinder off eBay and switched it out. Still hearing the pump whine on the replacement master cylinder, but brake firmness is much improved so seeing how long this lasts. Might try rebuilding old one now that it’s out.

Drove from Waco to OKC to swap a front diff, CV’s, and drive shaft with @Bripars40 and after 11hrs of work I finally have 4WD! The next morning I drove 5 hours straight back home! Thankful for a great opportunity to learn how to work on cars. This weekend made me a cruiser head for life.

Got my creeper from trail tailor! Excellent fitment. Pair really well with the TJM skid. T-Case / Tranny / Engine is now protected.
