A few of us headed up into the mountains for a little wheeling today, and even found some snow in the desert(YUK!)

Replaced the last of the AHC component that was not up to par with my standards.

This is the driver's side front AHC line, it is heavily corroded and i feel like it might spring a leak soon. This is not a job for the faint of heart, snaking it out was horrible, i decided to cut it in 4 pieces. The flarenut had welded itself shut to the valveblock. I cut it off and put a socket on it, no way a box wrench or flarenut wrench was going to take it off.

Putting the line back in was even more horrible, ended up having to remove the transmission cross member and supported the transmission to snake it back in. Took about 2 hours to get the flarenut to line up with the valveblock body to twist it in. I want these 4 hours of my life back, i thought it was going to be an hour job given how short the line looked.

That's it, everything is fresh now, all the lines look new, shocks doesn't leak, new accumulators, new height sensors, new fluid. Thank god for DIY, not even sure how much the dealership would charge for all of this.

Small, easy project today - I replaced the hood and tailgate support shocks with StrongArms. This is the second set on the hood, the ones I removed are 5-6 years old. The tailgate were original to the vehicle (2003).

I'm in Chico, CA so I checked the air filter today after living in the smoke of the Camp Fire for 2 weeks. Only slightly gray so I'll let it go a little longer. I'm coming up on an oil change anyway. I'll do the cabin filters then too. Our house's furnace filters were a lot worse!

I re foamed the two front door speakers and sub woofer. It’s a little tedious removing the old foam from the paper cones but well worth it if you’re not looking for top quality sound.

A few weeks ago I was able to really test out the new 18" LED light bar. Holy crap. Driving those long, straight wash boards roads at night no longer fatigue the hell out of my eyes. The factory high beams seem like running lights.....

fan belt...purrs oh so quiet again

Installed my Slee AHC Controller. Now to drive to Metal Tech to pick up my sliders and Total Chaos upper control arms. Then, I'm hoping that UPS freight will send me an update on where my Dissent front bumper is...

Installed new belt molding. The old stuff was cracked/peeling and scratching my arms when the windows were down.
The rear quarters will have to wait for more day light and better wheather, and a helper. I didn’t realize you need to remove the glass/window to get to the 1 screw for the belt molding. DOH!

this is on my to-do list as well. On the the door windows was the removal pretty straight forward?

Can you link where you got that voltometer? I have a cig lighter one and id LOVE to wire one in that isnt a pep-boi's special.

Got it off Amazon and just removed the voltmeter. It ended up being almost the exact diameter as the round cutout in the back of the switch blank so it's a snug fit without any fastening. I imagine a Blue Sea one would work too.

Them wheels tho!!! want kind? size? love them!

Those look like Hutchinson beadlocks. Pretty sure they are 17" @ikarus runs them as well. They are heavy, but sure do look sweet.

Nice to-do list!

Double check that the total chaos UCA have a mount for your AHC sensor.
