At the dealership today getting the recall squared away. Last time I was at a Toyota dealership they told me I needed to replace my serpentine belt. Thing was, it had just been replaced less than a thousand miles before. So I asked them to show me what lead them to believe it needed to be replaced. Long story short I called out the service manager for bullshitting me and we left it at that. Funny thing is I got an email the next day offering to buy the truck. Not sure if that's a common occurrence with these trucks, but I thought it was odd because of how old it is. Anyways I found another Hundy when I was roaming the lot.
Its a sales tactic trying to get you to buy a new car from them they did it when we did a seat belt recall on our 60

The dealership I've used for years has been so good to me. I am driving my truck to OBX on Saturday and I had it in yesterday after hearing a pretty obnoxious creaking from the front DS suspension.
He called me and told me it was just my upper control arms, which he said were in great shape, and not to worry.
I wish everyone was lucky enough to have a reputable place to take their trucks...
I do! I take my truck and Lexus to Japanese Auto Masters in Virginia Beach. Unfortunately for the recall I have to take it to the dealership. I may be heading down to OBX this weekend as well. Hope to see you out on highway 12!

Finally re-did my speaker grill covers.... been so lazy to do it. also put on xpels on the headlight to keep that shiny fresh look for a while.

Rubbing her down with clay, followed up by a nice coat of wax. Also the new look minus running boards,fender flares and with @LandCruiserPhil mud flap eliminators.
Looks smooth and clean now
