Cool, cool...

Did you cut in and install those LEDs yourself?

I ask because I know there are slight differences in the 98-02 LC ARB bars,

No, the older bumper comes with with those cut outs for amber turn signals. I just replace with led's.

Installed new Toyota steering rack, trail Taylor extended front sway bar links. Got it aligned and learned i had a couple bad rear bushings. So I ordered MetalTech rear control arm package with their 20% off holiday coupon. The truck is driving reallllly good. I imagine once I install the new rear links with fresh bushings it will be just like new!

Ordered an HID projector kit from The Retrofit Source - they have discount (ending today) that gets progressively better the more you spend. I saved 20%, so the kit was $282 and I got it shipped for $225. Not exactly plug and play, but pretty close from what I've read here - will update once I have them installed.

If I can install HIDs for $225 that are remotely close to my wife's Lexus I'll be thrilled!

Picked up my LX from ACC today after having them do the 180k service. Can't say enough about those guys. They are top notch. I could really tell that they care about and love the work that they do. Truly awesome. I scored some cool swag too...

Agree 100%!

I was there yesterday for an oil change and what I feared could be a moderately pricey ('cause I was clueless) repair - my dash had lit up: CHECK ENGINE, VCS TRAC, VCS OFF... a few days before. Brian came to break the news. "Well, we diagnosed the issue... you're going to need a new gas cap." The clicking had slowly faded away over the past year or so. That's a first - wearing out a gas cap. Makes sense though... 15 mpg ;)

Forgot about this thread made another with my updates...

in process of removing ahc bits

Installed pedders suspension

Removed side steps / runner boards

Changed full beam to led
Changes fogs to led

Rearview mirror with reverse camera screen broke got another one still need to fit.

Got private plate to match the car woo hoo V8 CYG (mines a Cygnus)

Lol me either...bumper hasn't moved... I think I am going to try to put it in the back and drive it to a shop for the install.
I installed the bumper first, then slid it forward just enough to fit the winch in while it was still supported by the frame rails. It was more a pain to get to some the bolts with it on the frame rails, but I was able to do it solo.

Cleaned MAF sensor & throttle body and then changed all the spark plugs. While removing the plug in cylinder #1 I noticed there seemed to be some oil both on the plug and in the plug well. When I pulled the plug socket out it also had traces of oil on it. Is this something to be concerned about? Am I looking at a possible valve cover gasket replacement? It's going into the shop tomorrow for TB/WP/tensioner/idler, UCA's with upper & lower bj's, tie rods, etc. and if it's something that needs to be fixed I will go ahead and get it done. I didn't think this issue needed a dedicated thread since I found a couple discussing this topic already, but the other 7 plugs were oil free. All of them had the same discoloration on the ceramic parts. Engine runs perfectly with no CEL codes. Replaced with Denso SK20R11 plugs.

The oil build up in that spot is possibly PCV leaking From the grommet in the valve cover.

Installed the vinyl hood blackout - I have light sensitive eyes and the reduction in glare is outstanding!

Alright now @TXSunDevil , your signature says you're driving a 2002 100 series. I didn't know there was a full replacement for factory nav. I just remember seeing various threads for Grom on 2003+ models.

Are you working from a thread or some other instructions that you could share? I'm very interested in this! Especially when it comes to HVAC controls.

Also removed the upper console fold-down drink holder (which I always found absurd and quite useless) and mounted a Wits' End APU2 in there - more sensible and more usable space now.

The APU-4 would look a whole lot cleaner in there ;)
Yah, I might drop this to the lower panel and get one of those for the upper panel at some point. Amazing how much room it buys you.

Oh, and it's not as crooked as it looks there, I had the top velcroed to the back at an angle.

Received the 9012 bulbs today, trimmed and installed them! Picked up a 285 spare to replace the tired Michelin! This will definitely look better on the rear bumper as well!
