Mud Flap eliminators from @LandCruiserPhil Installed!

TJM T13 Delivered and Installed. Just need to work on Wiring the lights!

Did all driveline fluids and oil change in my new to me Cruiser. I was amazed how good of shape everything is under there. The PO must have never taken it off pavement or out of the garage.

Memorial Day trail riding is coming. So.....
  • Put the front and mid skids back on
  • Painted the control arm skids tough dog red (install needed)
  • Changed the setting on the SPC uca's to D from E
  • Switched the cv clamps to the pfrans clamps

What does that panhard bar do? Hard to install?
When you lift the rear, it's slight pulls the axel to the passenger side. It's minimal, maybe .5-1"? An adjustable panhard allows you to replace the stock with a longer /adjustable one and therefore get the rear axle perfectly centered under the truck. It was really easy once I found my 1" socket. It's also really beefy!

Removed the blown out subwoofer last Thursday 5/4/2107.
My new speaker foam surround repair kit came in on the same day from Simply Speakers. $18 to my door via Ebay.
So I removed the old surround, cleaned and replace the foam and glued. And let it cured over the weekend.
And tonight 5/9/2017 I glued in the hard plastic surround onto the cured speaker.
Here is the video from Simply Speakers on how to do it.
Very important tip from the video is at 11:10 (centering it)

5/13/2017- Put the sub woofer back in. System sound great again.
$18 fix...............

5/12/2017 99672miles.
Drain and refilled coolant (Toyota 50/50) 10qts after the timing belt job and installed new OEM Toyota Radiator cap 16401-67150 (even though the old one looked good) as a safety measure.

Not today, but recently had a rear bumper and sliders fab'd up. In addition I installed some rear work lights, HID fogs up front, reinforced and repainted my homemade roof rack, installed a flowmaster 40, and of course added 30hp with the retro trd stripes! Getting ready for Kokopelli Trail in a few weeks!

Did some remodeling yesterday!!

I guess you can never be too careful. I am usually never closer than about 15' when I go by with riding mower with discharge chute facing that way. Sh!t happens.

Wow and time for a driver's side flipup window....... something good from something bad.
Ha, I wish. I suppose I could have gone that route and just took the payout. I have zero glass deductible policy, so I'm just getting it fixed. Next time I guess.

It may be too late, but I have 2 windows L/R stored away after my emu wing install.

Do you need to jack the truck up at all or does it have 2 bolts to change? And how do you know how much to adjust it?

I didn't jack the truck up. With my spare tire located on my swing out, it was easy access! I just removed the 2 bolts and it came right out. I put them both side by side and made the new one 3/4" longer. Idk if it's exactly perfect, but it's pretty close. To line up the bolt holes I did laid on my back and push the passenger side frame with my feet, I was ready for a fight, but it was pretty easy!

Might have to give it a go! Thanks for the info!!

Question....could you tell any difference in the way the car drove after getting it back in line?

Installed Ironman Profoam shocks, some new BFG KO2s in prep for a trip to the NC/GA mountains. But not before backing into a Buick at the local grocery store. Light scratch on my rear bumper, but I see an opportunity. Shocks are primo nice, as well as the new shoes.

I finally had enough of the scratch. I'd left it there as "therapy" - trying to settle into a not-perfect old Land Cruiser. I'm not going to be able to keep it perfect for ever... nor do I really want to. So, the scratch remained.

After 6 months, that was enough. I unscratched the 100...
