The 3M kit works really well with a cordless drill (at low RPM of course). I've been skeptical of these kits only because I'm not sure how long the supplied protectant/UV coating will last, but I'll keep my eyes on them. Other than that the results are pretty good considering it wasn't much work at all. My lights were far from the worst I've seen but I'm OCD so it had been bugging me for a while.

If you go get some clear coat and give them 3 good coats of clear, you can then polish that clear with any easy pass of the drill and wax/seal that clear coat. It will hold up much longer than just the plastic with the sealer on it.

Try some protective film like Xpel to cover the lenses. Doubt they will glaze again with film on them.

I turned the garage door opener box into usable space.

I pulled the opener box out of the overhead console, did a little trimming and cut a filler plate out of some scrap sheet metal. Then used the top part of the garage door box to hold the new plate in place on the overhead console.. Used a HomeLink module from eBay so I don't have to fumble with loose openers, added a 4.8amp BlueSeas USB outlet and included a Ram ball mount. Now I can mount my GPS and power it without cords hanging all over the place. The HomeLink module is powered from the overhead light circuit and I ran a new switched power source for the USB outlet.

The bear in the foreground saw me pack his food for the week and now he is constantly underfoot. Thinks I'll forget him.

Swapped out my sway bar links in the front and rear, fixed yet another rattling heat shield, and removed my running boards. For the sway bar end links, I noticed a clunking and realized the driver's side link had broken and was rattling against the LCA. In the process of removing the passenger side one, it too snapped with shockingly little effort. The rears seemed relatively good though. Probably didn't need to change them.

New shoes and rubber. Nitto trail grapplers. 285/75/16 (33"X11.5) @ 35psi should've gone narrower because tires stick a little past the fender wells. surprisingly rides smooth and quiet for mt tires

16x8 SCS wheels F5 in matte jet black. Vin at SCS was a pleasure to deal with.
I know, needs lift. Might have to do the lift mod(crank tb and add rear spacers) in H-mode right here. Next is removing running boards and installing sliders, ome suspension, front&rear bumpers, roof rack..list goes on. I have the same disease like everyone on here.. #twobabyseatsinside

I'm not normally a huge fan of blacked out rims with all black tires, but the contrast between the black shoes and the window tint with your silver color is awesome. What size tires do you wish you had gone with?

Installed the refinished sliders . About 18 months ago I primed them and painted with Rustoleum spray-on bedlinen and the results were awful, so about 10 days ago I took them off, stripped them down to bare metal and started over. Three coats of self-etching primer and four top coats of paint later (then cured for a week), I think the finish will be more robust now.

The rims I'm running have a 10mm offset which is prob why it sticks out a little. I may go with 275 or 265 may be flush with the wells. Rubbing slightly only right turns. May have to do the AHC lift mod/tbars/slee 's 30mm spacers.

So while installing emuwings, I thought ok while they dry I'll take the bottom panels and put some sound deadening, then I thought well while I'm doing this let me do the roof so I took the roof liner off, and while I was there I thought well might as well fix the rear A/C vents. This escalated quickly now most of the interior is disassembled. Found a good fix for the rear AC vents, I know they are prone to break when pushed in. Here is a fix that seem to have worked. Glue a washer in the broken insert and push vent into washer. Worked great!

10mm narrower tires will not change the look of that at all.

And installed a helton hot water heat exchanger, shurflo pump, bidet temp regulator, ball valve, and quick disconnects. So far, I'm very happy with the system. No hot water surges at all. The only thing I plan to change is funding quick disconnects that seal the line after being disconnected. Like an air line disconnect.
