There are actually 4, 2 for front and 2 for rear!Next time I’m in there I can but you can’t miss it. They’re right on the corners where the A-pillar meets the roof. There’s one on the driver and passenger side, probably a diameter of a little less than a dime.
Same way using some sort of line you can push down the drain. The rears are hidden in the back of the channel. Here is a video I took a while ago showing there it is.How does one go about cleaning the rear side sunroof drains that you mentioned?
Holy cow, nice work! Looks like that might be tricky to impossible to do without my very own surgery-grade micro camera, eh?Same way using some sort of line you can push down the drain. The rears are hidden in the back of the channel. Here is a video I took a while ago showing there it is.

Lol, yea...that was a couple years ago when I got to test out a couple $10k borescopes for work.Holy cow, nice work! Looks like that might be tricky to impossible to do without my very own surgery-grade micro camera, eh?
Was the oil mostly on the outside of the plug (a sign of failed tube seal on the valve cover) or inside on the electrode (a sign of oil somehow finding its way into the combustion chamber)?Replaced all spark plugs. Cyl 2 plug was drenched in fresh motor oil. Is that a sign of bad rings? Or could it be something else?
All other plugs were clean except for Cyl 7.. can't quite get to that little bugger so it'll have to wait. Praying it doesn't go out any time soon.
You're right, I wasn't. That's good to know. Although this was on a 34-year old 4Runner and I don't know that the bolt has ever come off? But I will keep that nugget stashed away in my brain. Thanks for the tip!You must not be familiar with the method of tapping in on the plugs with a hammer prior to removing them. It crushes the aluminum crush washers further, making the plug loose. A couple of good hammer taps and you can practically unscrew the plug with your fingers.....
Never needed anything more then a hammer and a short handled socket wrench to remove them.
That is clean looking!Project 250 finally got a bumper today! Super excited to be this much closer to getting it on the road! A little baselining and registration insurance ect and I should have it back on the road!

It was only around the threads and in the tube. The electrode was dry. I guess I'm safe for nowWas the oil mostly on the outside of the plug (a sign of failed tube seal on the valve cover) or inside on the electrode (a sign of oil somehow finding its way into the combustion chamber)?
Valve cover gasket job is not terrible on these engine. But until you can get to it, at least check the valve cover bolts. It is not uncommon for them to come slightly loose, causing the leaks. It was only around the threads and in the tube. The electrode was dry. I guess I'm safe for now
Can you share your part numbers?
If I didn't have a land cruiser maybe I could afford SYR gis! LolGood eye. Since ever since, as we say back home. SYR was just a little dream, started up on red dirt in the back yard, on the tiny island of Guam. Hella stoked for Vince and what he’s turned that company into. Just a local boy supporting SYR since ever since
Thanks! The bidy is pretty clean, the underside is a bit rusted lol. That is clean looking!
