Explored south mountain game lands between rutherfordton and Morganton nc. Great dead end trail and night in the woods. It appears to push all the way through but it was crossing into state park Lands and no vehicle signs though the map at entrance Labeled it as 4wd access road seasonally open.

Oh and turns out these dude like mayonnaise. Stopped for a lunch break and hike down to a waterfall in the sate park and this dude snuck in and ate my mayo knife on the bumper. Actually snapped the pic right before ..CRUNCH. dont suppose that's covered by REI warranty ? :grinpimp:

I did some N. GA trails I hadnt done before. This is Bend n Hickory. Believe it or not it is a county road.

Do you happen to have coordinates for that trail? Looks fun.

It is on the map since it is a county road!!

Haha, good point. I missed that part.

The beginning of some cosmetic upgrades... quickest mod I've ever done - 3 minute each side with a Torx-30 to remove the lock assembly from the door's edge. You just pop the little plastic hole cover right above the lock assembly and then loosen the captured T30 screw. Then a quick slide & pop to swap out the pull handle. Dugan was surprised at how easy they made it to change - you don't have to remove the inner door panel or anything.

Tundra door handles (for that blackout look without the need for a FJC Trail Team model VIN#)

Dang son! that's some serious pin striping!

80 differential is still messed up, so no progress there...

Blew out the front diff on the 100

Haven't seen the bill, but at least it will get upgraded.

Installed a new tire carrier for the 40...

But the coolant reservoir is bone dry because the radiator has a hole in it. New hoses and radiator are on the way.

Soooo... hitching a ride with a friend this week.:bang:

@BMThiker I think @Sam Stewart has been around you too much, have you seen the 4Runner lately... He skipped the pin striping and went straight for the raisin :steer:

Jeremy, I can't believe you have 3 cruisers down at one time! What did you ever here about the lunch box in the 80? Defective?

Rick, I give you credit, I've never seen any one wheel their FJC like you do. I like it:grinpimp:.

Teddy we need to get you around Wild Bill. He would give Rick a run for his money. Second time I wheeled with him he used an axe to straighten his brand new FJ out. Though I think Rick has broken way more parts than Bill.

Possibly true, but I'm not looking for recognition. I just enjoy my truck, as do we all. I know the limits of my driving skills and what my truck can do most of the time. But, the best times (which are infrequent) are when both exceed expectations.

Unfortunately, the wife made me take it to the shop for repair since I currently have nothing to get me back and forth to work with... That is going to set me back a little over $500. All springs and plungers were sheared off because the gap was incorrect; Aussie is overnighting new ones for the modest fee of $60. 80 should be up and running with an Aussie by this time tomorrow.

Still haven't heard about the 100; I don't think it is going to be cheap. Gotta pay to play! I hate that it happened, but I will enjoy the memories fondly.
