Yeah right. It will snow in a few weeks :)

Threw a CEL light yesterday. Funny how it also lights up the VSC/Trac lights too. Scan gauge says P0420. Used a real OBDII diagnostic and says same code and "Catalyst Low Efficiency ... Bank 1"

Hope its just an O2 sensor and not my Cat.

i was really hoping for snow this year so i could see how the 40 would do in the white stuff.

I also wanted to take my kid sled riding since this is probably the first year he'd be able to really enjoy it. I've taken him the past 2 winters but the little guy was so small the snow came up to his knees and i had to carry him everywhere.

But after the first 70 deg day in Feb i quickly got over my wishes for snow.

I also took all the screws out of the side windows and rolled up.

80+ deg can keep coming!

Almot always is an 02 sensor. I have even see 80 owners clean them and reuse em.

Yeah I amaze myself sometimes

Spare tire cross member removed, sanded down, painted, new spare pulley installed, and cross member put back on. Spare is no longer in the back of the cargo area for the first time in two years!!!

Finally fixed my fridge last night. I had started a thread in the Expedition Builds forum and got some great advice. I replaced a tiny 3A-250V fuse on the main board. It took me a while to find the fuse I needed and then I dragged my feet on getting a soldering iron with grounded tip and actually doing it. My first time ever soldering. It now works. I'm very happy to have my fridge back in the truck.

Picked up a new toy. She drove home, but died on the way, clogged fuel filter... but I am surprised I made it at all considering the coil wire was barely sitting in the sockets...

Most recent PO had the gas tank cleaned and lined, blew out the fuel lines, and had the carb rebuilt by a retired NASCAR carb rebuilder....
He also put 16" wheels on it and changed a bunch of hoses....

I have plenty to do:
change all fluids
rebuild front axle,
all new brakes
ebrake not engaging
speedo cable broken
tail lights not working ( I think it is just rusty sockets)
rear window not operating, relay is buggered up...
tailgate safety switch may not be working..
hi beam indicator not working
battery tray rusted to hell...
recover seats,
PS? I have a mini truck set up and a saginaw set up...and a 60 set up... I wonder if I can get the tilt column in there...

106887 miles, oil is super clean,, I need to double check to make sure it is getting pumped to the valve train..

She purrs like a kitten... sounds wonderful!

and of course lots of body work...

This PIG was purchased by UGA (used by and titled to the Anthropology dept.) in 1978 It was sold to an individual in 1999 for $800 clams, it sat in their yard until about 6 mos. ago when a friend bought it. He did some work to it (removed mech. fuel pump, installed electric...) and then needed money for a tax bill.

Someone installed the alarm and sliced a few wires..
since Sunday, I have:
installed new fuel filter
removed the alarm,
used liquid electrical tape to fix all shaved wires, about 14 wires,
removed soldered wires into splices
cleaned the fuse panel,
lubed all hinges and pivot points I can think of,
cleaned up the e. fuel pump wiring, soldering all in
installed a fusible link in the alternator feed back to the battery
removed the battery tray
put lugs on the battery cables/installed military clamps,
installed a new inline fuse holder and new fuses,
partially disassembled the tailgate window mechanism, (that took 3 hours)
removed the tail lights for cleaning,
found the broken speed o cable and removed it,
made sure the rear window switch was working,

Ill decide if I am going to post an actual build thread... or just sell it...:hillbilly:
