Thanks guys. Yeah this one sucks. Very curious to see what insurance has to say. I feel like everything that gets taken apart to fix will open a can of worms with this thing. Looks to need:
Radiator, valve cover, hood, roof gutter, and fiberglass roof. Also needs the cowl repaired. Split hood is crazy hard to find too.

Damn Jim that sucks, I've got a hood you can have...warning though it ain't pretty. It's been sitting out in my back yard for years, only reason I kept it was the silver hood ornament that I see on yours. I'll take some pics tonight and post them up, it's gonna need some tender loving care but it's yours if you want it.

Put on some new (to me) 315 Goodyear MTR Kevlars. Gonna try these out to compare them to the Duratracs. I also freshened up my wheels a bit since they were looking pretty rough.

The tread on my LF. Alignment, anyone?

Got my front rotors redone (warped out of box), new tie rod ends, brakes bled, and oil, filters, etc.

Finished putting my 60 back together and drove to Barber Vintage Festival. Raced my first AHRMA cross country race.
The old Cruiser isn't the fastest when towing the moto trailer, but it got me there and back (~600 miles) with no trouble.

Rear shocks are totalled. Icons will be here thursday in time for URE (whew)

Hey Jimbo, here is the hood, it doesn't have any rust holes thru the hood or any pin holes, now that may change once the body work commences. But it's yours if you want it. Last pic looks like there is a nut and bolt missing under neath holding the two sides together.

New rubber soles. KO2s 315/75R16
Noticeable difference in the clapped out KM2s and these smooth rolling A/Ts. Excited to have new tires (5th set with 175K on odometer). Hoping to get more than 35-40K out of a set of tires this time. I'll put them to mud/rock in January, but just gonna be commuters for next 6 or so weeks.

Found a hood for my 40. Also my bad luck streak continues. My garage got broken to and the new jeep was ransacked.

Replaced my y pipe to manifold gaskets.

Then checked all my fluids and changed a couple.

...and I just replaced these in February. I've gotten where I can do it in about 30 minutes. Ha-ha.

If you are replacing those in 10 months you have something wrong with your exhaust. You may want too take a look at V band clamps, more money for sure, but they hold up and can be re used.

Oh, I know it's the exhaust. The PO of my truck installed the EMS exhaust, including the y pipe, and it eats gaskets. I just haven't gotten it fixed.

Same situation here. Those gaskets don't make it 6 mos barely. Still wondering if the factory support from y pipe to firewall would help. Mine is MIA

But I finally ordered up the magnaflow, just need to recoup and find time to get to an exhaust shop

N51 20% off code at advance auto parts works on magnaflow btw :)
