Funny, seems Joey has a horror story on this hill as do I...
I got all sideways halfway up... Puckered and couldn't really go up or commit and turn back down... Had to sit tight for someone to run around to the top and strap me before I turned back up and drove it out...
As with Joey that was a loooong time ago... Back with a 3" OME and 315's
Learned a lot from that hill...
Nice vid!

That's awsome that you can still do that this time of year! How high up do you have to go to find the snow?

I should do that. Is there a write-up? Parts numbers? Yeh I know, search before you ask.
Threw everything in the trailer and took the kids to the reservoir beach. We were all alone. Too chicken to drive out onto the fresh wind blown sand.

Think I passed you on 80, I was headed to Tahoe on Father's Day...
Went over to the NV side for some R&R lake style.
Wasn't in the 80 tho, took the 4Runner.
We want SUP's bad....
Put 1200 miles on my rig and actually used the 3d row seating hauling wedding guests.
Turns out the wedding planner didn't know how to plan/coordinate/execute weddings, so I unleashed my inner gay hairdresser (named Andre' fwiw) and ran that sucker like a friggin' boss.
One moment I was hauling 250 plates, flatwear sets, champagne flutes and other assorted glassware and alcohol. The next I was hauling wedding guests six at a time from the ceremony to the reception and back to their hotels and to the beach and restaurant the next day. People from 17 countries and most of the continents. I even taught 16 Belgians how to shoot an AK as a small bit of entertainment, which everyone loved.

The Central and South Americans and one of the Belgians spent waaaay too much time climbing all over my ride. I mean they really dug it.
I even ran to the farm and feed store to get parts for the John Deere model 50 fuel system, which some unthinking idiot filled with 85% ethanol. Spent a good 30 minutes going through the fuel system and replacing soft parts. The groom, who is a Belgian city slicker drove the bride, who is a farm girl to the reception on the tractor.
I even had to run down the guy who delivered the cows and calves for the wedding. I didn't even know cows and calves were a "thing" for rural weddings.
The next day had a hog roast. This is the hog farmer that appeared on the Colbert Report and is restoring the traditional breeds.

Just as I was getting to launch for the 3.5 hour drive home, my youngest called to tell me the Jeep took a final dump on the side of the road. Had to drive 150 miles out of my way to go check it out and then help her purchase an el cheapo replacement vehicle. ($2000 2000 Camry, ftw!)
Somewhere along the way, my sparkplug tube seals failed spectacularly, puking oil out of all the top seams of the valve cover. Olathe Toyota had new seals to me the next day.
Took a slight detour on the way back home in the Loess Hills. Just east of Onawa on 175 there is a gravel road with a "3 miles dangerous curves" sign that runs along the main highway. Like catnip, man, couldn't resist taking it.

This is what a loess hill looks like in profile. Loess is windblown silt dune. The great majority of the vegetation in this particular pic is cannabis, btw.
Am finally back home; Marjan's in the garage and I'm ready to sleep a week. Am seriously thinking of becoming a wedding coordinator full time someday. Loved the experience of managing all the moving parts and getting things to arrive on time and on target.
