Installed some antenna mounts as well. I used a little adhesive foam to hopefully keep the paint from rubbing off too much.

On Saturday I drove down a bumpy gravel road to seat the springs , and found this.
Today I drove up a mountain pass road, then hiked in a ways for these.

My mouth is watering, I haven't had any morels for two years. I should really go and try to find some.

It's not quite the weekend, but I am prepping my Landcruiser to drive up to my mom's house.
It's about a 3 hour drive one way, so this will be yet another shake down trip prior to shipping this rig to Germany.

Part of that is to return this toy. 40+ years ago, my dad accidentally ran over it with his John Deere 3020. I found it 6 weeks ago and did a little restoration work on it. I mixed a bit of black tint to my leftover tractor paint and think it came out ok.

I started to buff out the terribly dry and faded gray paint on my 92'. So far it is looking 100% better, but far from perfect. Not an easy job though, as I am learning the best methods/materials.

Next will add some vinyl stripes/design somewhere to hide the old lettering that wont buff out

Got my 4x4 Labs rear bumper installed and finally got around to finishing my LED rock light project for now and tying in my toggle switches to my interior lights.

Took LC down to glass shop today, had front windshield taken out. Will clean up some surface rust around the frame tomorrow, then pull badges, trim, lights, etc and sand for paint. New Single stage on Sat!

Got my cruiser back from Robbie after the TRD SC was installed and injectors cleaned and and new radiator. Purrs like a kitten and can accelerate up hills!

Probably.. but I'm just going to put it back together and go with it. Seems like a pretty clean break. I can spend that money elsewhere.

It's just an Xrox bar, I'm actually getting rid of it, as I need headlight hoops out here, too much wildlife on the roads! I've ordered an AOE to replace it
