Got Cupholders? Velcro and some strips of unused carpet, trail tested with my 22oz KleenKanteen full of brew. Zero spillage. Held water bottles the same way, no problem.

Wait, you're from Iowa?! Where? I'm in Cedar Rapids.

I own a home in Newton and live there when I'm not working. In fact, I'm back here (Iowa) for a month, and am also trying to get my other series 80 base-lined. I put new shocks, fixed the emergency brake, and am getting new tires this week. I'm also trying to chase down oil leaks.

The pics are from Redlight District, Monrovia, Liberia. (That is its formal name, I kid you not). We have an office there.

The name of the place makes this picture exceedingly funny, imo.

Met up with a Mud member from the 70 series section, Charles - 1978HJ45. So glad to find out there is another mud member locally. Found out there was someone local when looking at Onur's vendor marketplace section and saw the local zip code. We met up today. Awesome guy. Talked for 2 hrs - told the wife probably would be 30 to 60 min - oh well. Got home and she had texted, "did he kill you or are you coming home", haha. Here's the pics.

Don't any of you 80 guys get interested in a 7x Series variant.....:flipoff2:

Very cool. A buddy of mine is from Monrovia, Liberia.

What do you do for work that takes you there?

I bought a 70 Series last year. It was fine. But it wasn't an 80. It had 79k km on it and was spotless. Sold it after 6 months. Kept my 92 80, bought a 94 80, and bought another 92 80 (the twin to my other 92 that I bought new).

The 70 Series is fine as a second Land Cruiser. The novelty of driving an obscure vehicle that nobody had ever seen before wore off fairly quick.

I like my tractor motor and bus tranny. They've never let me down. :flipoff2:

I bought another one!
