Had to clean it for the first time in awhile. Worked a beer festival yesterday and it monsooned at the end of the night ending everyones fun. When I went back to grab a few things this morning the grounds were muddy as hell and it was 4wd only getting in. I didn't think it was that bad until I was in the middle of it and at that point I realized I didn't have the hubs locked so I pretty much slung mud everywhere as I spun the tire moving at a snails pace. The hay/mud combo was like stucco when it dried. I think I have said this before but Duratracs suck in the mud!

Cleaned up inside the hatch and then winched an old safe up out of my back yard and then raised it up to load in a pickup.

Nice flex! Kinda reminds me of my dog in the yard this morning

Haha...ya, it does doesn't it..

The kids used the 80 and the winch to move a Bougainvillea bush. Fun.

hey Chris, why don't you have "Y" plates on your cruiser? Are you not DoD?

Nope...just a regular...er....umm....citizen. Well, permanent resident..actually.

Nice! Do they hassle you at JCI? How's the road tax on that beast? I remember when I was stationed in Misawa I had a 94 RX7 which was about $1200US for the road tax and JCI and that was with a Y plate in 2000-2003

I showed some love to my Cruiser, applied some leather/vinyl protective coat.
Relocated the front cup holders as I placed them too far forward initially being too concerned about the PWR and 2ND buttons. I moved back some to have a large bottle fit in there without a problem.

The truck is registered as a 100 plate (van) which means yearly shaken (JCI) which is still about $800 but the tax is cheap...roughly $180 or so.

If it were a regular 500 number that tax would be about $900 but shaken every two years.. So, its a bit of a juggling act as to which registration type is cheaper. At Shaken time I have to change the headlights, tail lights, wheels and tires back to JDM. Also, unplug the light bars and put a bracket on the rear seat so it CAN'T recline....part of the 100 number van requirements.

Reminds me of the good old days...trying to get my modified RX7 to pass JCI hahaha.. It involved changing turbos, exhaust, ECU, injectors etc in order to get past the sniffer and visual inspection. Good times.

Ya..I look at some of the street racer cars and think about how much stuff they have to change out once every two years. It's not trivial stuff either as you experienced..
