I am using a 3f bell housing and the flywheel from an 1987 fj60, but I am also using a 3fe block from a 1989 fj62 with the old head off my 80. It will be 4 different cruisers put together once I get some locking axles off an fzj80.lol

I bought the truck with a blown motor over a year ago so I have never driven it with the auto.lol
I am gonna need to get a ride in one with an auto someday

Replaced the rocker box gasket on the 4bt - seems to have fixed the serious oil leak. The remainder of the leaks are really just weaping/seeping with no droplet formation.

Also, fixed the throttle linkage and FSS mount (all linked to the same bracket). I noticed a couple weeks ago that I had not, in fact, been flooring it on hills to maintain 50mph, but had instead been at a sticking point in the throttle linkage and have only ever used ~50% of the throttle.

Now it feels like I have a gotdamn hotrod!

Replaced a bad windshield washer diverted valve. Old one had been in 5yrs and 3months and had just shy of 100k on it. Not a bad run. It's nice to once again see out of my back window.

New power steering pump, high pressure Gates hose and new return lines. No more ATF fluid all over.
