Got in the YodaTEQ mirror brackets. Looks very nice and now I get to do my install...eventually.

We did a quick trip up halfmoon gulch. Also ran the "iron mike" trail. Here is a pic of the centennial mine. I backed the cruiser into the lower level door. (To show how big this building is)

Awe Man! I would have gone thanks for not inviting me...sheesh..LOL no, but seriously I didn't even know such a thing existed here in Oregon, Im still trying to find more places to wheel.

Been meaning to do that trail for a while. Our club here in So. Oregon (Medford) has been talking about organizing a run.

I guess since you did locking hubs you also did a pert-time kit? Or is it useful even w/out a PT kit?

I have some ultra rare manual heated "Shane's" grey leather seats with new foam in the drivers that I'm considering selling... Manual are nice, saves weight and goes back further then the electronics.

Just saying, PM me if looking for completely new, bolt in seats... I'm thinking about selling them.

Found the hubs in the classifieds .... so lucky. I'm planning a vortec swap so I'll do the spool then if I need it, for now it's just to have them....

forgot that I also replaced the rear calipers with new ones from Beno and new pads/ rotors..... nice upgrade that got rid of some vibrations...

Your rig is one of my favorites. You have good taste my man.

haha - thanks man..... hope to send some biz your way, love the spirit..... back in 85 I made a bumper for my 73' 40 and had folks ask me to do more.... it was my first real welding project but I got lucky and did 15 over a few months.... it was a real learning experience and gave me a HUGE appreciation for craftsman like you and Phil who see a small niche and fill it with a solid product at a reasonable cost...

Wired up some lightly used Hella 1000's ( w/ 85 watt PIAA bulbs)

AND finally...... mounted up my LabRak..... amazing product quality but it does take a while to put it all together..... I've got some fine tuning to do on placement and a few things but will do that when I take it back off to do the roof monstaliner next weekend..... I really like Shane's module approach and the thing is ROCK solid......

And swapped out my rear tire carrier for the 4x$ labs 4 can carrier and the LCI gov't cans I ordered off amazon..... nice set for the cost but they do have the "property of the US goverment" stamp on them even thought they're brand new.....

The GF had to jump the cruiser because I left the lights on this morning. Since I last posted, I changed the oil, rotated the tires, changed the longest belt with an old used but better one I had hanging in the garage, and got it inspected. Now here's where things get interesting, causing me great consternation. The emissions test at 2360RPM is as follows:

HC (PPM) 48
CO% .35
CO2% 14.5
O2% .3
NOx (PPM) 0.00
Dilution % 14.9

It has 275K miles, and at least 160K miles on the wires, plugs, rotor, etc... They might be original for all I know.

Still getting 14-15mpg on the highway at 70mph.

So, in contrast to the thread, it's what I'm not doing to the Cruiser, nor will I do, unless it's absolutely necessary.:moon:
