Threw the coil spacers in that I have had laying around forever.

Metal tech or poly spacer? Thickness?
They are the Man-a-Fre 30mm (1.18inch) poly spacers. I actually got them for my old 92 but ended up getting rid of it. Was bored so threw them on. Have 5.9 inches over stock with the Slee 4" springs and spacers. Figured if I don't like them it would be easy enough to remove them. So far I think I will keep them on though.

busy weekend wrenching and working on the truckster....

changed out the fuel filter..... still have a little skin left on my knuckles but not much.... what a pain !

swapped out the 4x4 Lab spare tire carrier for my 3 can carrier - planning to put the tire on the rack when I do trips .....

and then finally mounted and ran wiring for the Viair pump and inverter..... also about to add a Bllue Sea dual USB panelto replace the Cigarette tray..... off to the store....
I also put Rock climbing climbing loops onto the rear seat belt mount bolts to secure things in the future - I did the same for the upper ones in the rear - found those at REI

I also put Quick Fists to mount the Shovel and Axe inside...... this is the only thing so far that Princess has shook her head at..... she's worried at what I might use it for I think....

Phil's View attachment 941730 View attachment 941731 View attachment 941732 mount is AMAZINGLY solid...... no movement at all - I mount both the inverter and pump on visco isolators but it hardly moves.... Nice work !

Did you get your rack yet?

Yesterday stared at it a little crooked with a hangover.

Today I Got it back on the road after approx 2 weeks of maintenance and repair. Cut my winch cable down to approx 85' so it fits on the drum better. Used winch to pull a bunch of tree stumps out of my buddy's yard. Then shook it down a bit near an old quarry to prep for next weekends trip to Badlands. Considering embarking on a simple sleeping platform build this week so I'm on here drooling on seemingly everyone's amazing carpentry skills (i'm wood challenged) Soooo if there is aspiring cabinet maker in the Chicago area that wants to test his skills and tools in exchange for free beer or ? let me know

Weekend continues through the week so maybe tomorrow I'll wash the dirt off and start measuring.

I was in need of a water storage and dog platform upgrade. I was making a crapping unorganized use of the space. I use Swiss 20L water bladders in all of our vehicle but I didn’t have the correct space in the 80 for its size full and wanted more capacity. After some research I found WaterBricks and they fit the space with the new design. I fab’d a plateform that snaps in place, provided a 3.5” space, and was flush with the WaterBricks.

The results are 7gals more of drinkable water PBA free. A place to keep my Outback Porta Privy and ladder mat under the platform plus more. A flat platform off the hot floor for Sam the wonder dog to travel and sleep. The platform supports 200lbs easy making climbing onto it no problem.

More testing is needed to see if the dog is good with jumping in I may need to angle the entry step and cover it with carpet to make getting in and out easy for SAM.

Looking to do a single charging/power inverter station in the rear. What is that sweet looking aluminum 110 chargy thingy next to the air pump? Seems like exactly what I'm looking for.

Thanks Phil

The inverter is a 1500 watt Harbour freight special.... We'll see how long it holds up but the price was right ! There also a mag light mounted in behind the pump

Great color for the truck !
do the sequoia rims need spacers to clear ? they look really good ......

1a6 my moonglow mamma

Don't be afraid :D Good things come to those that wait haha

For what it's worth every other truck had an arb and when backing down that ledge would smack it good. Tweaked one, Just some bangs on others. I've had 3 arbs and I'm done buying them. The aoe cleared with ease.

Sequoia rims don't NEED spacers but could benefit from a 3/4-1" spacer. I've ran 37s of a few varieties on these since 07 and simply rattle can the polished frame rail in back every few months. Ten yr old Slee 4" front and j's out back.
