Need to get a $10 plastic kiddy pool and you won't have that mess. Fits nicely underneath between the tires. Also can fold in half to drain the coolant in a bucket. Only problem is storing it while not in use.

I think I will just do the plastic bag trick. Takes up less space :meh:

I did strain everything before putting it all back into the truck and there was nothing that got trapped in my coffee filter. Makes me pretty happy.

Removed the side heat shield of the cats, it was making tons of noise from rubbing against the slider.

Added a 2 inch piece of aluminum flat bar to raise the lspv arm up 2 inches......OMG it made a HUGE difference! Can't believe my lazy ass waited his long to do it, only took 30 minutes tops.

Did a cooling system flush and replaced the "green stuff" with the "red stuff" and finally tackled the PHH...never cussed so much in my life :bang:

At least now you can have some peace of mind and not worry about it for sometime.

Replaced the cracked hose and the pig tail going to the compressor which made the A/C work, but now that I'm running the A/C, the alternator is constantly squeeling and the charge gauge indicates a drop of 1-2V when the A/C is on. New compressor time?

That sounds like a slipping belt on the alternator or a bad alternator. If the AC is working I doubt it is the compressor causing the issue.

Installed rear vent I picked up from Beno.

Can you afford a new hood and fenders from a minor front end bump? ;)

Same here....but at least it gives other drivers the creeps to be near me......still searching for a bumper here...had to reinstall the old one

Changed front and rear diff oil along with transfer case. Installed modded coolant temp gauge and changed a bulb while I was in there. Took a test drive and the gauge works great. Lots of movement now rather than a pegged needle which doesn't tell you anything.

You're absolutely right. The section of hose I replaced didn't look too bad, but it's still 17 years old and I'm sure it will fail when I least expect it...
