Pulled carpets and door panels and cleaned! Got rid of factory carpet padding, luckily I noticed the dampness in the passenger floor board and realized the sunroof drain was clogged. Was on my list to do, glad I did this now, been sitting in my garage a few weeks and still damp/wet. Going back in with a combo of dynamat and padding to insulate and reduce noise somewhat. I have the dynamat, figure I should use it.

went rock hunting with a friend today. the trail to where we went was washed away so we had to find another way in. Friends land Rover discovery made it in until we hit this crossing and he started to bottom out.

Found a whine that started a day or two Ago. Pulled a toasted ac tensioner pulley bearing and then test fit the AOE and M12000. Going with a smaller winch before cutting into the grill and bumper.

Stock antenna was destroyed, and I didn't want to pay for a new OEM one. Instead, I installed an Autozone rubber antenna. Hated the way it looked, so I tweaked it.

So, I hacked it up, and used some parts from the old one, and made it like this...

Makes it better, imo.

Didn't like the dogs banging around in the back of the truck when off road, getting hair everywhere, etc. so I built them a dog box that fits on top of the rear drawers of my 80.

It has a removable divider. I can fit two big dogs very comfortably and it gives them the added security/protection I was looking for. With the divider out, a third dog could fit easily. Still need to paint it.

not trying to dirty up this thread but i have seen those iron man bumpers flex up into the body on two trucks. A slight pop of a rock and they rotated. One of them they rotated just right to pop both front fender flares off the 80 series. Just FYI.

They do look good that's for sure.

Someone probably didn't drill the four extra bolt holes that you're supposed to. If you only mount it with the 6 bolts that are in slotted locations I can entirely see that happening. Outside of that I think strength and construction is similar to ARB so if it would've bent the Ironman it probably would've bent the ARB.
