Just chillin looking at the peaks. Made green chili cheese hamburgers and had some wine.

Adjusted drag link to center steering wheel.

Changed the oil. Used two 1 gallon costco jugs of chevron delo 400le 15w40, because i got 'em for $8/ea from a local liquidator, seals intact. Seems to like the oil.

Installed a new-to-me used knock sensor in the aft position. I finally have no codes.

Dug around a bit in hopes of fixing my no-horn issue. No joy.

How long did it take to remove the seats and carpet?
I need to do this, but wanted to get a ballpark for time before diving in

Thanks

Removal is easy. Drying time is the limiting factor. I let my kid rinse the carpet after washing any they were soaked through, including the padding underneath. I vacuumed with a shop-vac and left them on the fence overnight. They were dry in the morning.

Went camping at dillons beach then took a drive to Santa Cruz . My baby girl turned 300,000 this weekend. Still runs like a champ!!!

I happened across the thread on the distributor o-ring replacement and went out and looked at mine and sure enough, it was leaking like crazy (I never put two and two together before). A new $4 o-ring from the local Toyota dealer and 30 minutes to replace it and I'm in business!

Got some things done...

Went out to the farm to work on the house and help my mom and pop.

Had to take some air samples in the house and had to get them the day of this storm. Beautiful drive out to the farm in the morning. Was blowing snow pretty hard and visibility was bad at times.

I also needed to get out there as my mother and father's dog passed away and I needed to help them with that.

The land cruiser didn't complain any, no sliding and no hint of troubles.

What is new in that there axle rebuild picture? Looks like everything!

I was literally standing in the snow (i guess crouching and kneeling is more appropriate) last night buttoning up my PS front knuckle from a rebuild and none of my parts are that clean! I even soaked them in my parts washer.

Actually only internals - I had some extra time waiting on some parts so I let my OCD freak flag fly and cleaned / painted everything while I was in there.

She did get new knuckle studs, cones, washers and nuts~

I went ahead and also replaced the calipers and front brake lines. I'll rebuild the old ones as spares..

She back on the road

Finally got around to adjusting valves and a new Valve Cover Gasket to fix an annoying vacuum leak. Also added some Moly to my knuckles. Hoping to keep them happy (although leaking) for a couple of more months until I can do the rebuild. She seems to be doing good for now.

Also gave her a Name...she will now be known as ....Shiro Zo (Japanese for White Elephant).

Looks really sharp.
What route did you take on the calipers and were they bad?
