Started running wires in roof rack before powder coat.
Nice clean wiring.
Greased up every possible zerk that I could find, added grease to my birf's through the access hole on the top, I added an entire tube between the 2 sides, they were just a bit dry.

Took a run up to the radio towers on Peoh Point this evening. The sunset was spectacular!
If the briefs are dry each side can easily take an entire tube and then some!
Wow, I guess I need to re-check the level now, I was surprised with how dry they were, slowly working on base lining this beast, need to replace the radiator hoses, aftermarket ones (Goodyear) worth using, or just stick with O.E.?

CDL switch, LED domes, towed with her for the first time. She did well. Was only a flat bed trailer, on flat terrain, but still happy. And then parked the family camping trailer with her, from the street side yard was all 
Finally stretched out the old girl's legs where she like to be, on dirt! Went to big bear for camping and took the long, scenic and dirt route there: 330 - 1N04 - Clark's grade- skyline- gold fever trail and finally round about way to Hana's flat camp site. That's about 4 hours and 30+miles on dirt.
I recently changed fan clutch, flushed coolant changed oil and a drain and fill tranny fluid. She ran flawlessly, temp got up to 209 on the climb with AC blasting in 90+ degree weather but never go over 210. The engine was probably smoothest it has even been since I owned her, think she really liked her little work out. I even explored couple of side trails that's a bit more tight and technical but she never missed a beat and didn't even get a wheel spin. But I did drag the spare and hitch a few times.
This weekend there were tons of jeeps around and best encounter was when I followed a wrangler on the main dirt road to the camp ground(very easy, minivan and compact cars use it) which has some washboard section, the heep was painfully slow. When wash board got a little worse that wrangler was skidding sideways and couple of time I can see the entire frame/heep was shaking violently! I seriously thought something was going to fall off, it has got to be ridiculously uncomfortable in that thing.
Anyways I had a great time at big bear this weekend! BTW anyone on MUD was camping at hana's flat camp ground also? I saw a fully built 80 drove by now I have armor envy, lift envy, monster line envy and big tire envy! Fully built 80 looked good on MUD but in person it looks really badass!

Couple of more pix of the more interesting sections, was having too much fun to stop and take picture.. Thanks to tropical storm I "had to" do a few water crossings, some of the puddles were pretty big.

Cleaned out the ARB lines to the rear locker of 90 wt, as the seals need to be replaced. Unfortunately the locker has always puked 90 wt if not cleared out at least once a year...an item I forgot about before running Sourgrass last week; thus had the stench of the oil dripping onto the exhaust. Will fix this nuisance properly one of these days.

I was in the same boat as you and found out the briefs has a pretty big cavity, it took about a tube and half for about 3/4 full. Now you mentioned it think I'll check it again when it is a bit cooler.
As for radiator hoses OE all the ways, small vacuum hoses I'd do napa what ever but any critical hoses I would go with OE especially they are pre bent/shaped so a lot easier to work with. Oh I use amazon silicon hose for heater hose replacement but that's all.
Took her out for her first tailgate. Had a great time and she served as an excellent tailgate rig.

Finally got the transfer case fill plug off. Had to weld a nut to it to get it cracked. The drain plug came off with no problem using my impact. The oil that came out was pretty nasty, dark black. I replaced the plugs with the 10mm magnet (1 long, 1 short) plugs.
After cleaning up my Longfield beadlock wheels and giving them a fresh coat of paint, and new beadlock bolts, I had them balanced in preperation for a day trip along the Mojave Trail. I had also added a pair of Rigid Dually D2 LED lights on the front bumper.
We left from Hwy 95 just past the NV/CA border and headed up to Fort Piute, and then on to the Mojave Trail finally coming out on Cima Road near Nipton. The desert is extremely green right now with all the Monsoon rains, and we didn't run into another soul on the dirt the whole day. The Cruiser did great, but I'm going to have to add some bump stops with the amount of flex I'm getting from the 3-link, I got the tires into the wheel wells a couple times. Other than that, I engaged the Front Locker just once and it pulled right through. Need Drawers for the back to keep everything from bouncing around.

Put this bad boy in the back Norcold MRFT 60. Got it for super cheap. Now I need to figure out if I want to keep it or sell it for some OME 2.5 springs and castor correction.
