Finally got around to replacing my sticky-as-all-getout accelerator cable. Highly recommended. So smooth now, a much improved driving experience and throttle control.

Made some sweet spinners and road tested the new (to me) trailer on a camping trip.

Finished installing my 12K Badlands winch and Harbor Freight winch plate.

Divorced the solenoid box from the winch and mounted it up inside the battery box to keep it (mostly) out of the water during crossings. Sealed it up with some RTV for good measure.

Using their wireless winch controller for the sake of simplicity.

I'm thinking of doing the same as you did but mount the winch higher in the frame rails. Nice job!!

Thanks! This winch plate is a temporary fix until I squirrel away the dough for one of Mikes tube bumpers from Bumpit Offroad.

I did nothing on the 80 this weekend, but did get an engine that hadn't been turned over in 20 years going in a FJ40.

Edit: I did move the engine I have for the 80 around in the garage

Waiting on the wiring harness to be delivered for my new headlights so I did the following:

1. Flushed the brakes. Need to replace the rear bleed valves (on order).
2. Removed rust from a couple of spots on the roof and touched up the paint. (PO looked to have had an after market roof rack, dented the roof in a couple of spots, and rubbed the paint off in a few as well.)
3. Started cleaning and lubing the sunroof drive.
4. Cleaned and lubed the back sliding windows.
5. Removed the headlights, corner lights, and bumper mounted signals in preparation for the new headlights.

So, all in all, not too much done this weekend.:D

Changed all the fluids, washed, put in Husky liners and road tripped from Seattle to Roslyn, WA

Added some TEQ bling in the form of a small decal on a blank switch to replace my antenna up/down switch, a larger decal for my "always in the center console coozie" and a new keychain for the old girl.
