While waiting for parts, I made funny faces.

RHD? Clean install

Yessir. We try are hardest to mimic what it would have looked like in 1995. Down to hardware, clamps and clips, electrical connectors etc.

Interestingly enough, there is a sustainable market for fidelity to factory.

Of course, we tweak with drivability and power.

I admire how innovative and passionate delta is. Picked up my early Christmas present in person after a 3,000 miles road trip. Lucky, Delta had the front bumper in stock. Thanks Dave for giving me an in depth tour of your cars and shop. The turbocharged Cummins engine in your 80s is insane.

A quick excursion to Egypt's Western Desert, around the periphery of Ghard Abu Muharek (In Arabic, Ghard = Sand Dune, Abu Muharek = The One with an Engine).
Perhaps the longest sand due globally, 500 Km long and width ranges from a couple Km's to 16 Km at it's widest.
Treacherous driving & one needs to stay fully focused ,avoiding driving in mid-day as there is no contract and you cannot tell if your're going up or down or where the slip face of any dune is, serious stuff.
I'm more of an Esatern Desert guy but the Sahara & the Great Sand Sea have their special beauty.
My babe also turned 677,000 on this trip.

Little since last time, had a $40 muffler installed from this place “in the hood,” and put in some new windshield wipers. Anyway…
