It's just 3d printed out of ASA. I made it myself and the switches are some cheap Amazon ones. If you want the print file just let me know. I might eventually fill the letters with a colored epoxy but it's legible enough as is

You are correct, It was not new took a few years of checking mud, found this one from a guy back east that must not have ever seen the sun, the instrument lens, all dash plastics, vents everything else I could change was new. I have been going thru this 80 replacing everything I can with OEM parts down to the hose clamps. I am sure something will break now that I say this but I have had zero leave me stranded break downs with this truck and everything I have touched seems like it was the original parts, so hard to argue the OEM parts are not bad ass with 30yrs & 225k miles on them. suspension and bumpers are about the only thing I did not go OEM on. At some point going to put a build thread to gather. Most of the time it takes longer to find the parts than doing the work it seems. I lost track of how much time and money I have spent on this truck---- on purpose!
Do you have spacers installed? If so, what size and manufacturer?
Used this tool too tension my new belts. I am sure some people have enough experience to go off "feel" when tensioning belts.
Personally I am really happy with this little tool. I tensioned the belts to what I "felt" was correct and than I checked them with this gauge and according to this little tool they were still too loose.

I use that tool, I think it was a cricket gauge. Still not 100% if I read it correctly but seems ok.

I think the important part is pushing slowly and not over doing it. Than simply read where the black dingy is level with the metal.
Probably the most critical thing with this tool is making sure your finger is correctly centered in the middle of the belt between two pulleys. On the ac belt I noticed moving the gauge 1" from center drastically changed the measurement. I actually measured the belt and marked the exact center.

Went wheeling with friends again.
I installed a dash and rear view camera in my 80 and hardwired it in! Took me a bit to figure out the fuse situation and a friend recommended I get a remote fuse box and that will be a project for the future that I’d like to add.
All seems to be working so I think I did it correctly! Lol
Now it’s time to go play and see what the videos look like!
