Wow!! those look sweet! I have had my Wildpeak AT3W for over 5 years now and about 50+K miles and they still have a ton of tread left. As good as those look I don't think they are 3 peak rated and maybe not the best choice for Minnesota winters. But who knows...the tread pattern and siping looks like it could handle winters pretty good.Maybe the first Wildpeak R/T01 tires to go on an 80 Series???
Stoked how well they installed. Minimal weight was needed to balance.

Replaced the rear bumper corners with factory new (awesome not NLA) and snagged a NOS steel plate.
Idiot behind the wheel needs to not be lazy when backing up in strip malls.![]()
You are correct about not being 3 peak rated. I never see snow or even colder temps so it was an easy decision.Wow!! those look sweet! Not quite the weekend project, but I just got my @Delta VS 3L arms installed. I am very fortunate to live near @2KCruiser as he really came through for me!! Everyone knows these guys do great work! I had previously used some caster correction plates that required some notching of the mounts. John waved his magic welder wandand made the notches disappear!! POOF!
Had the alignment today to check the caster spec, and I am at a perfect +3.0 with a J Spring Lift!!

Nice, but with my luck, the ones I would get would be made in China, which is what happened last time I ordered Falkens.Maybe the first Wildpeak R/T01 tires to go on an 80 Series???

RIGHT, THESE ARE STAMPED WITH "MADE IN THAILAND" I BELIEVE THAT'S WHERE THEY ARE ALL MADE.Nice, but with my luck, the ones I would get would be made in China, which is what happened last time I ordered Falkens.
Are you boosting it once it's rebuilt? I'm just curious why you went with the ARPs.Heads going back on a rebuild, block needed .007 thousandths taken off to make it smooth again. My little helper handed me the ARP head bolts one by one with her broken arm.

Your standard OME 850/860J setup.
That's weird...mine were made in Thailand. I should just go there and pick them up myself..hahaNice, but with my luck, the ones I would get would be made in China, which is what happened last time I ordered Falkens.
Nice bumper!!!Got new shoes for the ‘97 after blowing one of the GY Duratracs on the highway. They had over 50K on them so it was time. Went with Yokohama Geolandar MT’s in 315’s. Very quiet and smooth riding compared to the old GY’s. View attachment 3438184View attachment 3438185View attachment 3438186View attachment 3438187
