Traded fake armor for real armor...

Finally got to replace my rear brake rotors and pads.
Last owner did a hack job on them.
One side had an ok rotor and worn pads other side had new pads and what was left of a rotor.

Installed my Wits End spare tire leveling kit, very smooth install and really jammed that 285 tire up there. Thanks to all for making that happen!!

Changed the oil. It was really clean, happy about that. Then took a 1000 mile round trip with the hound.

Tried out my new Harbor Frieght heavy duty needle scaler. What a great tool! I was able to get into all the nooks and crannies that I couldn't reach with a wire wheel. Got most of the rear down to bare metal in a few hours. The metal is pitted, but it's still totally solid. I would highly recommend this tool for anyone with a rust problem.

Ha! You are welcome to come use my stuff, but you'll have to provide your own labor. One truck is enough for me ;)
