Thanks for the tip! Somewhere on the web, a tint shop advised to soak it down with ammonia, plastic bag it in the sun, wait and it comes right off. Did not try it today. Sundown around now in NY, so instead I replaced the upper hatch outer door handle. It was rusted off, surprised that was the only thing rusted, 10 minute job, but so nice to be able to open the rear.I used a razor blade scraper on the areas WITHOUT the wires, the I wiped the entire window inside with carburetor cleaner. (Don't get that on any on the plastic trim!) Then peel off. Then clean with WD40, then multiple times with soap and water and end with Windex or equal...
Make sure you spray the carb cleaner on the rag OUTSIDE the truck, then wipe on the glass.
