Sweet, I'm trying this today!
Besides the slow leak in the ps on the 80, I have a similar leak (but much worse) on my CJ, going to test it out on the jeep first. it was dry this morning, put in ps fluid and the sealer product, had it running for a few hours today while I prepped the plow, lots leaked out. Says it takes a while to work, will see what happens. New pump is in waiting if I must. It's a bit cold outside to be messing with belts and lines. Thanks for the tip.

Friday morning I drove to the dead sea and Judea desert my friends were already there and I am going to meet them in the night camp

I stopped on the way to fuel at the last gas station before going into the desert and I met my old friends Shosho and Jony the tourist camels

Shosho was a little bit depressed and down so we had a chat

We have a saying "to go on the camel to take pictures is free but to go down it will cost you 10$"

It was all most night so I headed into the desert alongside the Dead Sea

Awesome, sounds like a fun adventure!
I would totally love to explore the dead sea and Masada area and see where the Yarden (Jordan river, means "The Descender") ends up -1365 below sea level ;)

Well, got the oil leak fixed, put wheel spacers on, and took my mom and daughter out for a Colorado ghost town and old mine stroll.

^^^and I use my lockers all the time! I know there are many that say you don't need them, however, we were able to make it up anything we pointed the truck at. Honestly, it feels awesome that I have the ability to lock the diff's in. We got to a few snow/slick spots; watched a few Subaru and a Jeep attempt them. We just locked and went.

Sweet! Now I know! Next time i get up there I’ll go check it out. Thanks for the tip, Marine7!

My pleasure! Hit me up and I’ll give you a guided tour! Lol

Light sabers in the crowd?
Led whips on quads and 4x rigs. It will save your ass, I know they’ve saved mine prob more than I know. Caught the tip of a whip one day, was coming up the other edge of a hill strait at me. I turned and he just caught my tire. Long travel v8 rail would have made roadkill of me.

Ignore the roller fairlead. That was just to run the line on the winch. Gotta get some Allen head bolts to mount the hawse fairlead

Lookin reeeeal nice...helluva winch you got there!
Yea did a full rebuild and added the 9.5XP motor and synthetic line to it. Been wanting one for a while

I luv the warn 8274!

Got the oil pump cover all buttoned up and oil crank seal as well.

My biggest headache was trying to locate a 3/4" drive 300ft lbs torque wrench, goodness, no part store had one to loan or rent, 1/2"drive and 250ft lbs...I know right?

Sooo I went to HF and bought a $70 ish one and got it done, was tired of searching for one, lotta wasted time...

2" PVC coupler worked great and even better with it capped...cap was an extra 70cents lol

My seal puller got it done in no time.

Attempted to track down a no start situation, didn't pull a plug but had spark out of the coil. Pulled fuel return line, had fuel there, in fact while that line was open it almost felt like it wanted to fire. Backstory: been daily driving her, parked it to drive the Duramax due to better fuel economy from said 3/4 ton. Noticed a slow leak with the right rear tire on the 80, decided to take her to the tire shop, then work. Got in, turned over and I stopped the starter before she caught, then tried again, just turns over. I did replace the fusible links. I'm going to tow her to a "new to me" shop and tear into her a bit more. I suspect a fuel issue, headlights work, turn signals work, scan gauge isn't giving me an MIL. No blown fuses. Or maybe it's the factory alarm, though it sounds like it wouldn't turn over if it's the alarm.

Checked out engine shudder issue which I guess was my oil cap off and the next day tackled my pushed in front bumper that I guess the previous owner had a accident with. Then after that washed my toy. I have to get more pics. I never did since the bumper made my cruiser look ugly

Driving into the Judea desert night falls pitch black I pull the maps and go deeper into the wilderness to let Enola play with the big boys Jeep enemy territory

I arrive to the set point the nightly campground and off cores my friends are not there :(

No cell phone reception so I go to higher grounds and call them on CB they moved the camp to a few miles north and off course the Nature authorities changed the track so the map is useless

I unite with my friends just in time to build my tent and join the feast of beer, BBQ meat and bad jokes on women around the camp fire

Morning we go on a long trek south 3 passes on our way the last one has a detour not before having Arab coffee
