I mainly can't get over the red cruiser. I don't think I've seen one in person. Throwback to my 309 freeborn fj60

Moar paint correction.

Four steps process. Message me for details, I'll make my own thread at some point. The pictures should show the progression of getting out the trail pen striping

I was thinking you should start out looking like your grandfather, then with each progressive picture, get a little younger each time by having Grandad, then Dad, then you, then son, then baby for the finished product.

I noticed you lost your glasses in there somewhere.....

Took my son out to the river and let him guide the old truck down some trails. Nice and quiet out there and other than the dude living under the bridge we saw no one else.
Did spy 4 roadrunners out and about.View attachment 1593972 View attachment 1593973 View attachment 1593976 View attachment 1593978 View attachment 1593979

Did you notice my other FJ80 appear in the background?

You can send you LCP gullwing my way. I’ll put it to good use!

I did NOT notice that.

Kinda cool to play with the "backdrop" images.

Very nice job on the paint. I'd be afraid that I'd burn through and have no paint left. I don't have that kind of patience.

I started mine and began driving it daily. I'm new to forum. I have had my 80 for 7 years now. It sat for 5 and gave it to my son to drive back and forth to school. Bought him a new car and now I'm beginning to drive it. It needs some help though. 1992 4.0 tractor motor is a little weak and I think it needs new u joints. Starts every time though.

@Lee j High I'm stationed in Japan but home isn't far from you! Good to see local Cruiser guys here

My buddy and I took our kids to Ricardo Campground near Mojave CA and did some off roading in Dove Springs OHV and Red Rock State Park.
It was a great time, though the wind was epic bad.
