What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend? (60 Viewers)

Blasted some compressed air down the vent tube holes of the fuel filler and then dumped almost 2 gallons of gas from my gas can to see if I could get the fuel to burp back. Alas it did not.

Also pushed low PSI through the CC and from what I can tell it's clogged. Sounded wet when I pushed air through but didn't get much out the purge barb. Tomorrow I'm off from work so I'll take it to the gas station and see if I can fill it up without issue.

Oh and almost finished replacing my u-joint on the diff side of the tailshaft. I'll be back to AWD in no time.

Part of reorganizing and inventorying my parts! I questioned whether or not the knuckle kits I have on the shelf from @cruiseroutfit had the instructions in them. I was wrong. Kurt was right. Instructions present.

Spent a couple days in the mtns snowboarding. Got to camp around 11-12k ft. Below zero both nights. Coldest temps I’ve camped in for sure!

I cheated a bit and filled in some of the scratches with a black sharpee. Not purist, but makes the truck look better from 50 ft.

Took my son out to the river and let him guide the old truck down some trails. Nice and quiet out there and other than the dude living under the bridge we saw no one else.
Did spy 4 roadrunners out and about.

Replaced both O2 sensors. Replaced positive battery terminal and fuse link.

Finally got around to installing the ACR status led. Pulled apart the instrument cluster for a nice discrete installation. It't really nice to know when the charging is or is not combined.

You sure do enjoy that paint! Quite happy with mine too...always garaged, no fading or peeling, minimal pinstripes, and shines bright when detailed. Took me a few years to realize, but the rig is much more enjoyable nowadays that I don't stress too much about keeping it mint. Not out searching for damage or scratches, but way more enjoyable rig when being used out in the field instead of keeping it garaged and shiny.

You sure do enjoy that paint! Quite happy with mine too...always garaged, no fading or peeling, minimal pinstripes, and shines bright when detailed. Took me a few years to realize, but the rig is much more enjoyable nowadays that I don't stress too much about keeping it mint.
