now the question is do I sell my 40 to fund my 80. I haven't drove the 40 since purchasing the 80. Land cruiser addiction problems.

Yeah I probably will but waiting on for some more rust repair. I got my 3x locked cruiser for cheap so it's totally worth it to fix.Now you just need to paint the rest to match the hatch!!![]()
Man that looks sweet! I love the matte color without it looking like a primered sprayed car. If you can...and you should...fix it ASAP..you don't need the rust to get away from you before it's too lateYikes! I wondered because mine has it a little around the window and one big spot like yours but on the exact opposite side. Seems like a very random spot for rust. I wonder why they do that
You have a lot more experience than me so I have to ask...why? Was it the constant wrenching? I am constantly oogling 40s and 55s but if I actually went through with it, I'd need to just fork out the cash up front to (hopefully) not be dealing with too much of that. I'm one of the rare people who actually likes using his rigs with his spare time rather than wrenching on themI occasionally miss my 40s. Never enough to buy another one though...yet.
Definitely! Im planning a full on war against rust before winter so I can monstaliner it. My quarters have a little in the bottom as well as a few other placesIf you can...and you should...fix it ASAP..you don't need the rust to get away from you before it's too late

Love tough dog, Ive got radflos, king springs and toughdog RTC stabilizer good to go.Thanks to J- aka @reevesci and Andrea for picking my name as the Trail Tailor Customer Loyalty winner!
Springs, shocks, castor correction, adjustable steering stabilizer, hat and stickers.
I'm going to attempt this install myself after purchasing an impact (all installs, mods, fixes have been via hand tools up to this point). While I know @GW Nugget would consider any suspension work a .5 banana job I can guarantee it's not going to be for me.
I think I've watched every damn youtube vid and read every build thread with suspension installs so I'm moderately optimistic I can do this myself. If not, I'll PM @SmokingRocks as he seems to be a magician and bribe him with fistfuls of cash. Fingers crossed.

I just bought a rainier from overland bound forum, now Im building the rack to carry it plus Gamiviti mounts showed up toady. Rainier is large no doubt a tad over my sunroofIt's the Mt. Bachelor. I purchased it awhile back and I feel like the current Mt. Bachelor is smaller, but I could be wrong.
Easy replacement just did mine last week ishAt some point discovered that I have a hoiked up throttle cable. Read somewhere on here in my travels that high idle after driving could be due to a sticking throttle cable. So I lifted on the go pedal when it happened and sure enough, the idle dropped to normal. Another thing to add to my list.
Going to replace the shocks this weekend, ahead of schedule. The front P/S bottom bushing is shot as the shock will freely move around in the mount when I grab it. Lift isn't in the budget right now so it's regular shocks.

35x12.5x15s bfg mud km2. Had to run spacers to clear the calipers. They don't rub but I personally am not a fan of the stance being that wide. I will switch to 17 inch rims soon and suck the tires back in a little. I had the 35s lying around so I figured I may as well put them to use.Love tough dog, Ive got radflos, king springs and toughdog RTC stabilizer good to go.
