Well as per my usual summer frolic I'm at the beach again! I like this spot because you need a permit and the access is limited to mefore 7 AM or after 5. With my RTT I cancome late and sleep over as much as I want.

About to fire up the grill. Oh boy.

Annual trip down to Padre Island National Seashore. Drove about five miles down the sand so we could have a football field of beach to ourself. Of course there is another 40+ miles of beach to drive but after five miles at 15 mph my three young kids are screaming at me to just stop already.

Usually it's the youngest in the family that goes soft, not the oldest...

I'm already trying to push for lift, tires, etc on the GX. Might happen. I was kind of bummed because it has brand new Michelin highway tires on it. I was hoping for the "but honey, we need to make our daughter's truck safe, and the tires are shot" excuse to put 33" KM2's on it.

Broke this. Need a real steel vise.

Starter's bendix kept clicking a few times before it would finally start. Ordered up a reman'd Denso and swapped it out yesterday. This time I had my little brother do it. Hahaha three hours later! He enjoys this stuff but his patience wears off quick.

Know you even have free labor......I have even longer list of things for him LOL! Hell I'll even order domino pizza for him.

Another boring post without photos, but I was able to work a full 6 hours on my Cruiser yesterday!

1) Swapped fan clutch fluid to 20k
2) Cleaned IACV (Don't think it really did anything)
3) Replaced accelerator cable

Drove around for about an hour today in 80f stop and go traffic with AC on. Ultragauge max temp was 179.6F... So I guess the fan clutch is really working well now. Usually I'd see about 185F.

New accelerator cable feels real good.
