Finally got the AC in my 81 working. All it took was a new compressor, drier, expansion valve, new/used condenser, and new/used evaporator. Plus 2 fills, one which leaked out.

Mine typically runs 197 when it's 110. Today it was recorded at 119 and I was running 202.

I called it quits when it hit 114˚ and the neighbor's cat started giving me advice.

I tried to start earlier, but work-work got in the way. I tried to be super conservative cutting knowing I'd have to trim a lot. I didn't take into account all my tools getting too hot. I'm hoping the angle grinder will make short work of the minor adjustments tomorrow.

20.7 miles per gallon?!!! That has to be photo shopped or you are going downhill.

Easy fix.... pull the switches out of the door jams, take apart, clean, and re-install. You can do them both in about 30 minutes.

That is about 20 degrees cooler than down here.

It's humid though. That can bring a whole new dimension to this game.

I've had mine unclip before and nearly fall off. Now I run the beefiesr zip ties I can through the plastic clips once it's on.
