I thought I ordered a OEM rear upper control arm bushings but the Whiteline ones came instead. Which makes since on the great price.:bang:

Has anyone used these?
I don't even know why I'm asking this....

I still like mine but it won't take my 315s back to 35psi in warm weather without the thermal protection circuit kicking off. It then takes 15+ mins to reset.. before that there is no airing going on. I have to stop at about 30 to get all four into road condition. Which is fine.. that's usually plenty to get me to a real air supply.

Not sure whether others have this issue.. for me it's the only fault with this great little compressor.

Although they are a great compressor for the money it does have a 20 min duty cycle that no one knows about because no one reads the manual. :hillbilly:

Poked around deep in the hills of Madison County NC fishing half dozen creeks along the way. Lots of two track, some some unknown forest roads, and some killer blacktop scenery as well. Truly beautiful country

At 3 min per tire, with 1 minute in between tires, it will be just fine. 15 min total time. Under 20 min anyway.

But, I will also agree with what you said a while back. This compressor is perfect for those who don't go wheeling weekly.
For someone like me, 2-3 times wheeling and an occasional flat on my other car, it's perfect.

If you use a compressor more often than that, a Puma, Viair or @Qball 's favorite (Smittybilt) will have a better result by being quicker.
But again price/performance/size ratio is all in it's favor.

Had my muffler guy replace my worn out, stock cats with Magnaflow HFC's that compliment my Magnaflow exhaust system quite nicely. Stockers appeared to be partially clogged and the truck has a slightly deeper tone under acceleration now. Hopefully that doesn't translate to extra exhaust noise on the freeway...guess I'll find out soon enough. No matter, glad to be rid of the P0420 code.

I actually have the same exact compressor also. It has been religated to the backup compressor but it actually works quite well. One trick to keep them running in got weather is wipe the heat sink area with wet paper towel, it will literally make the little bit of water you put on it boil/sizzle.

Got around to uninstalling all of the accessories wired to my starting battery and wrapping up my dual battery system. National Luna makes a great product if anyone is in the market. Extensive instructions, more hardware and cable (with a very flexible insulation for easy routing around bay) than you'll need. Purchased my second battery tray and hardware locally from Slee. Went flawlessly.

Just waiting for the Bluesea waterproof 12 fuse block to rewire all accessories and fab up a relay block.

Went with an Odyssey 34R-PC1500T for the auxiliary battery.

Pictures didn't come out very clear, but you get the idea.

I'm finally driving my LC after months of work. Feels great enjoying the fruits of working on it myself!

The temps are holding well too with the new radiator. I have a feeling the Shimahide fan clutch is staying on too much though. Aisin Blue hub is coming soon to replace it.

That's funny, I just ordered a set of those on Amazon yesterday!

I think mine is going to be similar, pretty sure it's the original one. 23 years and 280k plus miles, it's only a matter of time before it gives up the ghost.

On a separate note, for anyone that has replaced the bushing in their track bar (lateral control arm) were you able to press it out on a standard press or did you have to take it to a shop/ go to extreme measures?

I had to melt out the rubber on the one side of mine and have progressed to cutting the sleeve as it seems to have rust welded itself to the bar. Before I tackle the other side, I'm curious if I shouldn't just have a shop press it. Especially not having a good base to sit the bar on.

Looks great. I see you're in the SF Bay as well. Do those cats pass CA smog?
