I see your trestle and raise you some trees (courtesy of northern Idaho).

Hard to beat the Goat Trestle, Worlds largest wood trestle ~628' curved and ~200' all wood built in the early 1900's The 17 tunnel needed for the "Impossible Railway" are just as impressive.

Doh! Hmm, now I need to figure it out because I thought it was you :(

I don't think I could handle the customer service side of being in business, no patience for stupid questions and complaints.:meh::hillbilly:

Meh, been doing it for decades now so no problem. Complaints? So far it's only been about shipping times. I'm a one man shop working on my dining room table. Phone calls help break up the monotony sometimes :p

Not referring to your business, I am sure the service and products are top notch. I was referring to my nonexistent never to be started enterprise. I always look forward to you next product launch.

Changed Oil, changed Front Left Wheel Bearing, Rotated tires, food, drink, etc., and another trip Up South.......The Mist Oasis of Gebel Elba :
Part 1 of 2.

1. The Southeastern most mountain range in Egypt on the Red Sea Coast and on borders with Sudan.
DSCF3633.JPG

2. The "Old Man & The Mountain", Haj Mohamed Sharif, our host, in his later days, a Bishari elder from The Beja Tribe. These people have been around in the area since Pharaonic times, though dark skinned they are of Nilotic not Negroid Origin. Known for their ferocity as warriors, the Pharaohs had to make peace with them to avoid their gold caravans being plundered while en-route to the delta.

3. Our camp under the acacia, windbreaker courtesy of our hosts.

4. An abandoned typical Bishari "Guest House/Community Center", usually operative in times of rain and abundance of grazing for livestock (sheep & goats), otherwise people move to where the grazing grounds are.

5. Break time.....local brews

The Mist Oasis of Gebel Elba :
Part 2 of 2.

6."private property", locals packed house and probably moved west. The stones mark the boundary of the dwelling.

7. En-route to the mountain.
DSCF3648.JPG

8. The mountain with it's acacia valley, it usually takes about a 4 hour hike to reach the mist. Dragon Trees (Dracaena ombet) above 1,000m ASL, peak is at 1,435m ASL.
DSCF3654.JPG

9. Our hosts cooking dinner, slaughtered goat cooked as primitively as it comes, the origin of the barbecue, no marination, no grill just cooked on hot stones. We'd usually cooked it otherwise, but didn't want to offend.

10. On the road back to reality, Gebel (mountain) Ghareb at sunset with a rain pool from last month.
