Spending a few days in Leadville Colorado. Pretty surprised, I was able to pull I-70 West bound from Denver doing about 65 to 70 mph all of the way. Truck isn't fully loaded, just the wife, dog and fishing gear. Averaged 14.2 mph with 4.88s, 315 duratracs, Slee front and rear bumbers and Slee 4 inch lift.

Doing something right :)

Drove from AZ to VA to get started on a project that I have been wanting to to do since I have owned my LC. I will post up a new thread detailing and documenting the entire build once it's under way. This will be done by a professional shop in Virginia by a guy that knows his stuff. I have all the parts ready to go. New GM EROD LS3 6.2 crate motor, all the Marks adapters, new 6L80E, Ron Davis radiator, and a DC Power 300 amp (at idle) alternator. I am looking forward to being able to pull a trailer through the mountains above 30 mph!

Great choice of motor, trans, radiator and alternator..........awesome.

When you get done it'll look something like this.

Just wrapped up what was, in my opinion, a major ordeal. Full front axle service. Took me 4 days. About $1100 in parts and fluids. Cleaned EVERYTHING. I used 6 cans of brake cleaner, wire wheels, steel brushes and 4 rolls of paper towels. Painted dust covers, painted the knuckles and drive flanges with Duplicolor bed liner. Used the same on the wheel wells. Used Koyo bearings and the kit from @cruiseroutfit, new birfields, Advics brake pads (all from those guys), Centric rotors (plain) and Napa calipers. Filled the diff with Lucas synthetic and then my wife and I used the 1 man/ 1 woman method to bleed the brakes. She pumped and pumped and finally everything came out like it should. Went out for a little test drive and nothing seemed wrong. Holy crap I'm exhausted.

You did NOT just post that.

Seriously. Sometimes it's so easy even I can't bring myself to hit the soft balls out of the park.

Here's the video of some light wheeling I did up in La Plata Canyon on Memorial Day weekend. Sorry there's no music. This is my first video I've ever uploaded. The mount we used gave off an annoying squeaking noise. If you watch I'd turn the volume off haha one of these days I'll figure it out. Hope ya'll enjoy!

Completed power steering hose replacements on saturday, LP and HP sides.
I recently had it in the shop to overhaul the box and pump and while they were in there failed to replace the banjo gasket which is where i suspected the leak. New OEM HP hose from Camelback Toyota but went with PHH.com (Houston FZJ80) LP hose replacements.
Hoping to compile some of the stuff i learned and open a new thread for it if i have time!
