Qball and I did brake lines!

Good meeting you are Overland Expo! And glad your tent didn't get destroyed like so many others :p
Why did so many tents get destroyed at expo?

Just realized that I don't own a cable cutter. So I'll be taking the wire to work (Lowe's) tomorrow to cut it. Hoping to have the dual battery setup complete in a couple of hours...

Parked it :(. Wheel bearing went bad after lift install. Headed out of country for next 2 weeks so knuckle rebuild when I get home

Was all ready to get going on my front axle rebuild in the driveway... then I saw the weather for this memorial day weekend. Tropical storm Bonnie here in VA Sunday and Monday. I think it's going to have to wait until better weather. Maybe I can convince the wife to take a ride to carolla/carova in the OBX.
I have a garage, but it's currently disorganized with projects - the 65 Mustang is doubling as a workbench. :bang::bang:

This morning I disabled (capped) the stupid PAIR system on the 93. Cut the PAIR bracket off the air filter canister to make room for the second battery box. Dropped the battery in and hooked up the fridge to it so it would be cold all day at baseball games.

Also realized I had an AC leak on the 92. So I added some freon to figure out where it was coming from. Score! The lines at the firewall. The O rings were toast so I replaced them and added freon. My daughter has been driving the 92 without air. I just thought she liked rolling with the windows down.

Finally got stared on my NWTI front bumper. Really liking it so far.

Now to start welding all the seams...

Even if "its the nut" stripped the stud will be damaged as well from trying to run that nut onto it. You may be able to salvage it by running a die over it but the weld & remove option is probably your best.

Just went and looked at mine and think I could even do it with the manifold still on the engine. It'd be tight for sure.. but removing the front driveshaft for access is a lot easier than the manifold.

I got very lucky - got a new nut and it went on nice and tight. A nice surprise.

I should have ordered all new nuts and bolts for the entire exhaust, that was another thing learned. New magnaflow Cats on and time to take a spin with the new O2's
