NOTHING is worth living in overpopulated s***holes.
I'd purchased a NATO metal gas can at a local car parts store for just under $30 a month or so back. I filled it with fuel a week or so ago, and drove around with it in back.
I noted no smell of fuel during this test, so I poured it into my tank today. It has a spout that is self vented, and I was amazed at how clean the pour was. I couldn't even smell the gas when pouring it into the tank.
I did note it was slightly slow, but overall I found it to be a good container, despite its affordable price. I will pick up at least one more to extend my range. While I can get fuel for $2.39 on post, off post it is significantly higher.
Filled her up, thats about it . Luckily, my family eats lots of food so the fuel points made the fill up only $16.85.

The spout on mine leaks a bit when dispensing gas unless you hold it just right. I've heard that using two gaskets on there eliminates the problem. I haven't gotten around to trying that yet.I have the same can (seals great, no issues) and spout which leaks like a mother when pouring even though the gasket is nice and soft. Any tips? Seems like the spout is just loose when the handle is pushed all the way tight and I've thought of inserting some extra material to make it crank down tighter perhaps.

Dude, shut up with your water in Iowa.
I can walk into any store around here and buy as much water as I want to. Different size bottles too, up to 5 gallons. We got alkaline water, flavored water, plain water, filtered water, mountain spring water, blue water, import water, etc.
Coffee, fresh bread, a million places to get great food, gorgeous women everywhere...etc etc.

Meh. I've been there and disagree.
I will grant you In N Out burgers.
Plus last year at this time, the closer I got to San Diego on our drive, the more clothes my boss took off. So you have that.
But on the "tons of gorgeous women" thing... Seriously; I don't see that. I saw more than the usual amount of hags with silicone and fake coated fake-ness, but I didn't see any more attractive women than anywhere else I've been. I don't think Cali can even TOUCH places like Luzerne, Switzerland or Salzburg, Austria for the female hotness quotient. I would put Orange City or Pella Iowa against ANY California town of 50,000. Pure blooded Dutch six foot fashion models, who don't even know how gorgeous they are.
Some rat-bastard from Manhattan has started recruiting models from that area, both men and women, btw. So now they are starting to figure out they might be out of the norm, physically.
In Iowa my mortgage is less than most urban area tax bill. I have a huge lot with a small house and three workshops.
No vehicle inspection, no smog tests (which are pure corruption, btw) no toll roads, no road rage.
ETc...
Really, $2.16 here on Oahu.WTF! We are still paying $3 a gallon here in Cali!!!!
BTW, the stockings are a nice touch.
Sometimes the things that are barely noticeable are the best things....
