In 80-related news I did get the chance to compare AWD and the ABS on/off with and without the CDL engaged. So there's that.

Was last weekend, but got out early to do some southern Arizona snow wheelin. Saw the largest flock of turkeys I've ever seen (about 2 dozen) but didn't get any good pictures.

Came up on this heep stuck on a pretty steep/icy part of the trail. After offering to help/watching him winch through, we just hit the ol' magic button and cruised right up no problem.

Loaded up the 80 to go skiing. Hit the freeway, chains required, OSP waived me through (no chains), no lines . Nasty on the freeway pass (I5 Siskiyou summit). Two pretty good roll overs. The 80 just did its thing and continued on up (There were several tow trucks and OSP onsite, no need to stop and see if anybody needed help). Hit the access road, and now really staring to snow. Slow and steady all the way up...... until my GF called that the mountain didn't have any power. Meh! headed to the parking chatted with some folks and headed back down.

Would have been a great day on the mountain. Super bummed, but the 80 delivered as it always does..... except the driver window broke.

That's some heavy powder! How does the rear Aussie locker perform in the white stuff on steep grades?

Sounds like you could have used a "sled" and done some backcountry pow runs...

Fine, I prefer when they don't "plow" the road lol. I worry more about downhill however, was slick on the plowed road coming down.

Ashland is getting dumped on for the next week!! Its going to be a great year. We made it up there 2 days adjoined it was awesome!
