I use one to grease my knuckles, it's slow indeed but clean... I'm def. gonna try the ziplock bag trick next time ah!! Seems waaaaay efficient that way!

The ziplock bag trick is clean too. @Dragos80 is just a bit of a Neanderthal so he got dirty. Throw on some nitrile gloves, scoop, twist, squeeze. Done.

Don't know why. It just made me feel better. I guess my sequencing is a little off, can't figure out where.

Finally finished the starter rebuild and reinstalled it. Since I already had the battery disconnected I did the Photoman alt upgrade at the same time.

Truck starts much more quickly, and no more run-on from the starter. My windows go up & down better now too

I refilled the knuckles with grease via @LS1FJ40 method. It worked well but just like Andre @120mm showed his hands in the picture above, I always sabotage myself and never wear gloves. So it got a little messy.

I think I'll splurge on a grease gun from HF since they have a 25% off coupon going on this weekend.

Get the HF grease gun with the flexible hose. Great for getting into the grease ports inside of the ujoints and guess what? It fits perfectly into the knuckle grease port!

Replaced the rock hard O-ring on my distributor and cleaned the hell out of front part of the engine where oil had been caked up over the years!
Next is the crank and oil pump seal.
