It's not the weekend, and I didn't actually "do" it, but I had Line-X of Athens color-match my 19 yo paint, cover all my flare holes and coat both sides. The owner, Chris, also painted the dark strip along the back to match for free. El Guapo es guapo nuevo!

Late Entry: Cruiser had the weekend off, and a spa day on Sunday. Washed, sealed paint for winter, and conditioned seats.

I love those rims

Replaced the fuel filter on my '93. I got all psyched out by a lot of folks who said it is really difficult. Didn't think it was too bad really. I'll take that over a PHH any day unless I'm doing the PHH bypass method! Then it's a toss up. Ha.

Did you plug the flare holes before line-x? Just curious as I'm about to pull mine.

After I pulled the flares, I drilled out the holes (as needed) to the next standard size, and then filled them with nylon locking hole plugs until I got the money for the Line-X. Then, the day before I dropped it off at Line-X, I pulled all the plugs and coated the inside edge of all the holes with touch-up paint to seal the bare metal. The Line-X guy told me that he'd cover all the holes with aluminum tape before applying the product.

Well, it wasn't on the weekend but...Fairly self-explanatory I think!

View attachment 1165908 View attachment 1165909 Finished assembling the Prinsu Roof Rack. Very light and aesthetically it's rugged and has just enough MadMax to be cool. My engineer neighbor stated, "whoever designed this understand stress loads, properties of metal and is very smart." It's a cool piece of armor made in USA. I am plugging Prinsu because he's an American entrepreneur.View attachment 1165894View attachment 1165895
This is a good looking rack, but in NO way is it MadMax....
