Do you have the trim piece that goes along the rear plastic trim and headliner? It has 2 screws through it
That's right! I have those in another bag...lol. ..I was wondering why the finish looked a little rough even for an FJ60. Thanks for the question.

You got those other handles brand new. I didn't even know they were available.
I've been holding on to them. Seems like the parts were getting scarce as the parts were received piece meal from local Yota dealer.
Gotta love a three day weekend. I have spent the last two months working on two different 60's and each of them has been stuck at 90% complete for way too long.
This one got fender flares installed and a good overall cleaning. These are the fiberglass fenders sold out of Australia. If you are patient you can get a set for around $750 with delivery. The fit was terrific and it helped to hide a lot of issues. Back to it's happy owner it went and out of my way!
This silver FJ is one of my favorites to date and it has opened my eye to how great these 60's run when tuned up correctly. With a set of wheels and tires this is going to be one sharp looking truck. It was loaded on a trailer and sent to Houston to make someone very happy.
All of that and there was still time to give Mr. Squeaks a compound and buffing. I have been using a line of products from Car Wash, Wax, Polishes, Microfiber Towels and Best Auto Detail Supplies - Chemical Guys Professional Car Care Products - Wholesale and Retail
I compounded with the lightest grit in the line and gave it a good wax. My arms are still shaking from the DA buffer......
Now my little shop is empty and I'm forced to do some cleaning. Bummer.

Went to Cantina for the Con to support the Rubicon Trail Foundation and all the great work they do on keeping this trail open and all the work they do to educate and raise trail awareness that helps people take care other trails that they run.
So after my fill of tacos and purchasing raffle tickets. We went out and ran Wentworth Springs Rd to Ellis Creek Y then back down to Loon Lake. I did well without lockers and stock gears and no armor.

Recovered it from an epic road trip fail in Canada on July 5th. Been in storage for the last two months at the border in Sweetgrass montana. 4364 miles just to get her back home. It feels good to have it back.
That's a heck of a recovery mission. Glad to see it made its way back home.
From that first picture I was afraid that driveway had claimed another one! Good to have the 60 back though. I guess you finished the engine swap?
Swap was finished it drove great for 2k miles then developed a knock in Saskatchewan canada
