THANKS!!! no pics of it under knife. I'm really happy with how it turned out - the guy who runs the body shop does full restos of mopars, too. really good work with sealing the welds, etc. and yep...got the rear re-sprayed. I've been dragging that rear end through Moab and the Swell for years. the "kiss" from the boulder in Eagle Canyon sealed the deal to get it done. Now I just have to save up to re-spray the rest of the rig to match the nice paint in the rear. Then...mini-sliders for protection.

he basically cut and folded it up, welded up some pieces to keep the body lines intact, made some drain holes and sprayed it. he also kept the pinch welds underneatch and behind the quarter for rigidity. I had it done in Wheat Ridge, CO at Exotic Bodies by Jim. (yes, it's a body shop). OH...and the exposure is weird in one of those pics...it doesn't look that light in real life.

Going on 7 weeks of waiting for my carb to be rebuilt

With all 3, 20's something kids home for a relatives wedding, we took the Cruiser, all 5 of us! To say this wedding was over the top would be an understatement, considering the NYC captains of industry that attended. Icing on the cake was when the bodyguards (yes, some attendees had men in black) were all over the truck, drooling and oohing and ahhing. We stood out, and the Cruiser was perfect!!!

Are those fender flares? If so, where did you get them?
They were on the truck when I bought it, but there are heaps of places in Aus to buy them including eBay

Arb front bar installed
Runva winch installed
30" cree leds installed
gme radio and antenae installed
dual battery setup installed
33" maxxis 751 ats picked up used for DD duties.
33" archillies xmts rested for mud duties only

Added LED's on the 4+ rear bumper at 1600 lumens each...
Should be nice and bright when I get to back up into the unknown...(not no more !!!!! )

It's almost month and a half I'm trying to change the intake/exhaust gasket on 3fe. I hate the process, cause I don't have enough time to spend on. Finally today I managed to put most of the stuff back together but still plenty to do. Hopefully will be done by Saturday. Cause I really want to drive it.

I sort of feel your pain, a knuckle service and a brake booster/master swap has turned into a 3+ week ordeal for me. ...not because its hard to do this stuff, but because work and finals at school have been keeping me away from it.. ....I'm getting pretty sick of driving my Dad's Suburban everyday, which wasn't helped by a front tire exploding on me at 70mph.... :bang:

I've still got to do tierod ends and hopefully a a front and rear U-bolt flip before the 18th too...

I think I have more luck. At least I have the 14 T4R TE in the driveway waiting for me!
