Yes Sir, you correct,

the skid plate is made out off 3/8 thick aluminum. Not made for dragging the weight of the cruiser across a huge rock but strong enough for protecting the new drive train. The skid plate covers from the front of the oil pan all the way back to the muffler.

Great! No un-wanted water anywhere! Now I just need a snorkel. For this I just pulled off the engine compartment snorkel to get my air intake a couple inches higher. Entering the crossing was easily headlight deep.

Finished the Dynamat install (finally)
Reinstalled all the parts I removed (thank whoever for mentioning the baggie/picture method)
Rec'd the headlight wiring harness.
Installed harness, JW Speaker headlights (wow) and repainted grille & headlight surrounds.
Finished cleaning rear heater, replaced hear heater 90* hoses, reinstalled.
Ordered VB-4 sound barrier padding from Doug @ Cascade Audio
Ordered carpet from interior shop.
Scheduled padding/carpet install for end of next week.
Ordered a bunch of goodies from Onur.
Picked seat material.
Started initial planning of door cards.
Ordered inner axle seals from Marlin Crawler.
Started putting parts together for 4Runner caliper upgrade.
Scheduled axles/diffs rebuild - week after carpet install.
 
Changed out the AC condensor, broken tensioner bolt and then charged up the AC. Nice and cold now.
