I like that temp/alt gauge. What is it and where can I find one?

Went to loveday 4x4 park near adelaide
Removed all door panels for an inspection but couldn't find anything out of the ordinary so it'll take a little more time until I can reach in there and see what the armatures and tracks look like. I did see one and it had a gooey mess on the teeth. I'm thinking those suckers need to be pulled, cleaned and re-greased. The tracks too. Cleaned up some of the felt and gaskets of moss as well. The PNW is harsh on rubber and trim.
Added an aftermarket cup/coin holder just below the radio but I need to clean up the bezel before it can work and go back together as it should. Someone really cut that bezel up at one point and it has ROUGH edges. When I do, I'll reattach everything and maybe take some pics. Then I'll have a handy cup holder that is supposed to hold cups!
I also pulled the front grill and gave it a day at the "spa" in my Roman tub! I know you're jealous but seriously that thing needed attention. I pulled the side trim too and will give that a good detail next.
"Flower" sure looks funny without its face on.

Got my badass battery cables. . .you know, to go along with the headlight harness, aux fuse block, and new headlights.
Torn most of the interior out of the truck. Was pleased to find no huge issues. No rust but small rip in rear tailgate gasket and a ton of Arizona dust caked EVERYWHERE. Cleaning in prep for dynamite should be quite fun. Any tips on how to get the dust/grime from those deep down places would be greatly appreciated. Here a few pics:
And OEM stuff that will go FS in the very near future:

Have a shop vac by chance with attachments? I find a crevice tool attachment EXTREMELY helpful when I'm cleaning out my interiors because I have 2 huskies that like to leave their hair on EVERYTHING and it gets EVERYWHERE!
I'm pulling my carpet soon too to check for rust and other things.

Still getting to know my cruiser, so just taking care of a few random details. Installed new power antenna. I also got my 2 for $2 LED festoon bulbs for the dome lights, so installed one in the forward dome light. I think I like it. The light is pretty "blue" and not quite as bright as I would have thought for 12 LED array, but certainly an upgrade on the dim yellow OEM bulb. As for the rear dome, the lens already had a hole and upon unscrewing it to take it out, it simply crumbled in my hands. I see the OEM lights are still available, but as long as I have to replace it, I am considering a brighter alternative. If anybody has any suggestions, let me know. Oh and I also did this....

I was in Gilroy this weekend for a friend's birthday, so I decided to take advantage of being so close to Hollister Hills before we headed back home.
The weather has been awesome here the last few days and the trails were freshly rutted and a little washed out from last weeks rain running down them. The only thing I was bummed about was that there was a big puddle in front of the stair steps in the obstacle course area and I couldent get any traction to get started on them.

I rewired my spotties after I put in a new headlight wiring harness
Here's what I did
Since putting the new headlight harness in, my spotties decided to stop working, I initially had them wired through the high beam switch connected to the yellow and orange wire.
So I did a search on here and came up with nothing (surprised) I did a search around the net and came up with the following solution!
If it doesn't work the other way.
Splice in two wires at the original headlight plug.
"I don't know the colour of the wires but if you have a look at the plug there are two pins that run parallel to each other, splice a wire into each of these. To test you have the correct wires, put a test light across both of these wires it should light up when high beam in on only.
The 3rd wire, going by SimHilux is the Red with a Green strip, we do not use this.
For now, connect the end of these two wires to terminals 85 and 86 of your relay.
The rest of the wiring for the relay is the same as the drawing, terminal 30 has B+ via a fuse and 87 connects to the spot lights.
Check the operation of your headlights and spotlights , the spot lights should only come on with high beam and go off when low beam is on or the headlights are turned off.
If ok, disconnect the wire at pin 86 of the relay, double check the operation of your headlights.
If they are still functioning correctly run another 2 wires into the cab and connect to your spotlight switch. At the relay connect one wire to terminal 86 of the relay and the other wire connect this to the wire you previously disconnected from the relay."
Now this worked slightly different for me because I have the twin headlights, so you just plug the 2 wires mentioned into the high beam light connector.
Also as I upgraded to new wiring it was also easier for me as these old connectors are not use for the new wiring loom.
Now this worked perfectly me, if it works for you excellent.

sschruff you requested how to clean off the deep/hard dirt, well........
for dirt cleaning and removing use ZEP 505 Industrial Cleaner and Degreaser, located at HomeDepot
and then add a stiff bristle brush, they clean well - I mean REALLY cleans dirt/grease off of things.

Those MC adapters are way better than the Sky ones. Very nice
yup Sky ones are very thin .. I actually broke a set ( well I used to do that with bolts and nuts .. so no surprise there )
